E-R Leaving NBSI

Cartiff	Posted - 2005.12.02 12:53:00 - [1] Its a sad day indeed, but the time has come to part ways with our old friends. E-R has always been a hardcore small scale PVP corp which kicks ass, although lately we have been worn down with industrial crap, and too many ******* blues. And so we make this decision. Before all the alts come in here, this is not due to any external pressure from any alliance of group, its a purely internal matter. We have gotten frustrated with nbsi gangs of 80%+ E-R members, and rather than kicking the rest out we choose to leave instead. thus hopefully they can keep going and build up to be bigger and better than before. Maybe in the future we will come back to our old friends, but atm it seems unlikely. To ASCN, You will be destroyed, E-R is now more focused than before, and with no restraints on our operions and actions now you will again face our full wrath. To [5] this isn't because of you in anyway, we will continue to agressively target [5] pilots and if we can get some isk together we will continue the empire war. If you care to dec us, we will make it mutual. To everyone else, watchout, once we're free, you gotta watch your six. E-R will be leaving NBSI in 1 week, this will give NBSI time to replace E-R members from key roles and for us to make sure that they are ok, we are not ASCN we leave with honour. We expect to lose some players, and gain some from other NBSI corps, those who join us do so for FUN, those who leave do so with my blessing. E-R 4TW EVE Beware. Guys, this is a very sad day. I remember the close brotherhood of E-R, Maza & Black Lance. The way they stood shoulder to shoulder for the last 9 months. It is a real shame that as NBSI has grown and others have come in that that feeling seems to have been diluted. That you had good solid reasons for leaving, and that you aren't backstabbing anyone, that you are justified in your actions. And yet I get the feeling that some will take your departure as a backstab regardless of what you say, and they will irrationally devote their entire game-life in EVE to your utter destruction, and may even form a whole alliance to that purpose. They will war relentlessly against you on the forums, crowing for months that will turn into years about your evil natures, your eating of babies, and such. Every thread will be hijacked, every post relentlessly scanned for evidence of the vast betrayal you have rendered that is then reposted and commented upon with pointing fingers. Since it's inception we were actively engaging people en-masse in and out of the empire. There can be no peace period for NBSI, that's against the whole idea (since for some reasons alliances need to make a wardec/statement of hatred in order to be able to shoot someone).

Its funny to see some members of an alliance blabbing on the forums (not referring to any in particular) when they win us or lose against us, about how "good" they are and how E-R have been owned, bla bla bla bla. If an alliance with thousands of players in it were to actually "lose" against us, then we'd really be accomplishing a feat indeed, now wouldn't we? Yesterday we attacked 5 in H-P and lost. We were outnumbered and outgunned, that didnt stop us from going in and having a good time with the 5 fleet there. We lost, of course, but who cares? In the end we all won with some good fun. And THAT is the ONLY thing that matters in EVE.
