so there i was doing some security missions when my agents offers me this shi**y mission, i declined it and got did the mission she offered me and when i asked for another mission she offered me that shi**y data mining mission again and this time i could not decline it with out loosing standings. so i accept it and buy the scordite of the market and head to the mining site to kill the rats that she said would show up but nothing shows up.... i sit there for 5 mins waiting for them but they never come, so i figure there must be a trigger that wants me to start mining before they spawn. so now i guess il have to go buy a mining laser shoot a rock with it for some shi**y rats to show up so i can shot them and finish the mission.
that is just ridiculous.
either make this mission a mining mission.
or make it so that the agents wont offer you missions you have declined.
also, why is the word sh*t censored ?

my point is if i wanted a mining a mission i would go to a mining agent..... and that this mission is stupid, boring and out of place.

It's a security mission, you have to fight after you "bait" the pirates by mining.
I also have 3rd Dan though I'm a little out of practice, it should be a good fight. |

It is a perfectly fine security mission in my eyes. In fact it is even somewhat better than your run of the mill "go to x and ahoot everything in sight" mission. A bit variety isn't really a bad thing. And having to use a mining laser for 1-2 cycles or changing on of your drones to a mining drone isn't really a) such a pain and b) a "mining mission".
How goes one o EVE's favourite sayings again. Was something with "harden up" ...
PS: And your s### word is blocked because it is after all a swear word and as such usually has no place in polite conversations as you have them in this forum. *cough* My, my .... Could type that without even blushing. |

You don't need to buy a mining laser, just undock in you pod and dock at any station where you don't have a ship, then you get a noob ship which comes with a free laser.
I'm a relatively respectable citizen. Multiple felon perhaps, but certainly not dangerous. |
