hotfix gone wrong ? is it patch time a hidden one it is tuesday after all. Is it that the hamsters wont fire the server up or is it an unschelued extended down time for database changes and the patch to come thursday ?

is it patch day - shortly we will get a message saying please download RMR as it has been updated - suddenly the patch will appera along with patch notes ? or is that thursday and we are getting a database upgrade still no dev feedback so something is up

Would it be a good idea to let people know what CCP know about cases like this. (Or that they dont)
This would in my opinion reduce the posts in forums, asking any explanations. Any post from devs acknowledging the situation would be better than no sign of case being studied/fixed.
Would calm my thoughts, at least

i feel so lame. i have a skill training that i forgot to change that has finished. I live in california. it is 4:25 am. I have class tommorrow. I am staying up just to make sure that i do not miss a few hours of skill training, and a few thousand skill points. Eve is so addicting.

If I would care about my customers that way, i'd be kicked ass, that's for sure

During the daily downtime today, we are applying some hardware optimizations and this is taking slightly longer than we expected. We estimate that TQ will be up and running at around 12:40 GMT. Thank you for the patience.

Actually, I tried to watch the intro again because I am so totally love it. Anyway, I have just realised that I need to connect to the server to watch an intro.

1 new 64 bit AMD and 1 new 64 bit Intel blade server are being tested on TQ. Im quite prepared to accept 5 hour downtime if this blade thingy works we will be able to have 1000 fleet battles in a system. The alliances will be much happier

Sounds cool. I just wish I had got back to base to kick off that overnight build before DT rather than waste time tarting about in my new ship safe in the knowledge I could do it after DT.
So many of my problems could be solved if I just acted on hindsight in a timely fashion.

This is the only day that my skill finsihed @ like 5 mins past DT cause they been up like ontime or earlier the last few weeks AFAIK anyways...
i dont mine an hr or so loss of skillz isnt that bad :) as long as the server works better !!!!!!!! can't blame them for trying at least :)

Servers are restart, ETA 500 seconds by the looks of things.
Still, huge difference from SWG, an "extended maintaince" usaually takes 10 hours, once an update brougt the servers down for 30 hours.
There is nothing to fear in death, for no one has come back to complain about it. |

yes ive gotten 10 SWG refugees in my corp alone in the last week - the good thing is that most of them are moving from trial accoutns to paying accounts - good news for CCP as long as they keep it working the way it has.

Well guys we made 10 pages.
