The Patch Notes for the Red Moon Rising content update are now available for your viewing. This free EVE Online expansion has been over 6 months in the making and not only brings new content and features to EVE Online, but also resolves many issues and introduces a number of server and client optimizations for a more enjoyable gaming experience.
Presently, there are more features undergoing the Quality Assurance process, so the patch notes are not complete. More information, including changes made to the Research & Manufacturing system will be updated over the weekend.
At this time, we are still planning on a deployment next week. If we are not able to meet this deadline, deployment of RMR will be delayed until after the Holiday season. We do not think it would be fair to introduce an unstable client the in the week of Christmas. Not only would the staff have a less than enjoyable holiday season fixing the client, but the player community deserves much more than a mediocre playing experience.
We will make the RMR deployment date announcement over this weekend. Regards,

Quote: Stealth Bombers no longer receive a targeting delay when decloaking and receive a 5 second reactivation delay on cloaking devices.
<3 Interesting, and brings up the question: Do missiles still dissappear mid-flight if you cloak? Nonetheless, being able to drop a pair of cruise missiles at 120 KM and then recloak as soon as they hit is still awesome. Stealth Bombers are looking up :)

Edited by: MrJordanIOI on 09/12/2005 21:47:30 PLEASE add that you are SCRAMBLED indicator ;))
See that thread where lots and lots of people signed....
-> http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=214284
and sign if you think there should be a GUI indicator to tell you that your ship is unable to warp.
Best current version is that the speed bar turns red. Nothing so far to be seen in RMR ;"/
Thanks, IOI

There's a change to Projected ECCM that's mentioned, but nothing about the changes to normal ECCM and backup modules (ie changing form a flat bonus to a percentile one).
Does this mean that that particular change did not make it into the patch?

I'd be more worried about the new manufacturing system that thing has had pretty much 0 testing with the current bugs.... pushing something that big onto a live environment without major stress testing is a recipie for disaster.

"Due to Unicode changes, a maximum character limit of 3,500 characters has been added to killmails. This is to prevent errors and lack of receipt of a killmail when a mails length exceeded the limit."
You *are* getting rid of all uneccessary characters in them right? Loads of extra spaces and such which could be eliminated. Not to mention all those repeated "type:"'s. And the "fitted"...

GOODBYE MACRO-MINERS
Yay for restriction on trail accounts, it should be used by new players to get a "taste" of EVE and buy this awesome game!
Cheers CCP, keep up this lovely work

Kieron, a while back, and at the fanfest too, there was mention that the lvl 4 agents in the main hub systems like Jita and co. would be moved into low sec empire with RMR but it is not in the patch notes. (At least not that i saw, but after reading it, I was starting to see double and the text was burned into my retinas... but there you go)
Anyway, is this going to happen now or is it being puched back further/abandoned? ------

They have to put the changes in the same time as titans, other wise any alliance who has been plotting and planing for ages and has all the parts needed for a titan ready, will be able to pop out very quick indeed.
As when the manufacturing change goes thought all build will be finshed instantly meaning insta titan, or insta carrer fleet if u have enuth ship parts in time and have pland a head.

No, we have an arrangement with a major hosting provider whose name I cannot recall at the moment. There should be very few problems with download speeds this time around.
