It said 'Holiday.' I could be a Satanic Cult member (I'm not) and there would still be holidays around this time of year because they are national holidays for most countries. Plus, I doubt it is going to be anything overtly Cristian. Some people are jsut so negative.
Incidentally, I'm not Christian.

No, not everyone is a Christian. I think its fair to say that the majority of the playerbase celebrate Christmas.
Is it that bad that the game gets into the spirit a bit? Or do we all need to be moronically politically correct about everything?

It's annoying as heck to be bombarded with messages for a *pagan* festival. I play Eve to get away from that sort of thing.
And if you want me to be in a better mood, stop CCP from nerfing the UI and aupporting features.

Irony: Someone in a game where players join a cult based around rituals involving human blood worrying about the possible use of things related to christmas :P. Plus there is the whole Amarr thing.

Oh god please don't tell me we're gonna have these neo-yuppies cry like "I don't celebrate christmas, you shouldn't force christianity on me, I have a right to play a non-religious game blah blah blah blah"
Look it's this simple, EVE is loaded with religion as it is..and thats great, makes for a much more realistic universe to play in..creates flavour and makes for good roleplaying/events whatever. I'm not religious myself and I'm not stupid enough to be offended.
Besides, christmas rocks, everyone should celebrate it, you get lots of good food, presents, you are together with the family and forget all your troubles for one day..plus, christmas was originally like..a pagan thing I think..called "Yule" or something...can't remember how it goes, but who cares????? christmas is great, so stop worrying about the details and eat some more and open a few more presents dammit!.

i don't give a crap either way religiously. i'm not a christian. i once got slapped for making a mean comment about the pope. i find the **** kicked up by jerry springer: the opera hilarious.
but christmas to me is just a holiday. nothing really christian to me. so call it christmas FFS. i know its a damn holiday, don't call it "holiday season" or whatever - thats just lame. sure, it started christian, but now its a cultural thing (admittedly western, but so primarily is eve). i wouldn't be offended if hanukkah or ramadan was celebrated in eve (actually, please do ramadan - i want more lights on my raven  )

Therefor, like I said and will say yet again, christmas rocks, and therefor features rock, this whole thing rocks, unquestionable solid fact, end of story.
