Boat has not led a siege fleet, as far as I can tell.
If I am not mistaken, our most prolific structure shooter now is Lyris Nairn, Chronicles of Narnia, Sky Captain of ~our heart~ etc etc

Highsec has the power to do this.
If every highsec "bear" rolled an alt and trained to high end frigs, destroyers, or bombers, and just went to goon space and started shooting stuff, this would be over.
And, as many would say, well deserved.
Jita will in fact be sending regards for this "emergent" play.
But I'm biased. Were it up to me, nullsec would be a playground of anarchy and the mere sighting of a super would bring hordes of "pubbies" trying to get in on a kill, like the last elephant being assailed by a swarm of ants.

1. Yes. However, I wrote this in around 20 minutes and I know for a fact I changed tense at least 8 times. Also I'm bad at writing.
2. There are people who care about nullsec wars and politics who aren't directly involved in them, I know, I used to be one of them. Whether or not that's the "average player" doesn't concern me.

Sure they are greatt when it comes to hotdropping ratters in Providence, but's that's hardly leet PvP.

PL are the same as PL have always been - a massive supercap power. Unfortunately, they've come to realize their only strength in the current climate is to grind someone elses structure timers for them. Outside of Asakai, they've not been that revenent for a while now.
PL can't deploy their toys without someone else giving them subcap dominance, which isn't happening, in large part because TEST turnout is terrible and still declining.
PL lost the meta-game hard (when a CFC dominated CSM got supers hell-nerfed), and in my opinion they're still working out where they fit in after this. PL can't (nor do they want to) fight a large-scale sovwar as they just don't have the numbers.

Naw, that's how the Goons profited off of Tech (and want to do again).
Easiest way others can "make a difference" is ignore the drama; play their own meta games; or take a vacation from the game. Because if these 2 alliances are ignored, and can't profit from the moon goo, they can finally feel like the rest of the players do.
