I had 2 Billion my 3rd day playing. Bought Game Time Codes and sold them on the forums. Best thing I ever did in the first year of playing. It gave me a stake better than the 5K you get as a new character... |

I don't really keep track of such things, but until I bought GTC's or Plex, I never had a bil on me.
Now my corp mates tend to keep track of stuff, and I was told last month I netted 70 mil for the corp, at 10% tax that means I killed 700mil worth of rats. Maybe a few hours here and there and a dedicated evening push on a Wednesday or something, so maybe around 30 hours of work, give or take?
I suppose that's not bad for running the belts in a -0.4 system. I could have had a better average, but sometimes I just run anoms with friends that lowers my overall tick earning, my best so far is earning 8.9mil a tick, so if I work hard and the rat gods smile upon me, I can make just under 30 mil an hour. |

My first billion ISK liquid was at the end of my second month. I've never dropped below it.
Some days I make nothing some days a few billion. Most of the time its a few hundred mil here and there when I'm out making money.

Yes... well.. i do have BC and carriers and stuffz, but i made my billion pvping on the market
Not that hard, find out how much it costs to build stuff, sell stuff on market for buildcost+profit, if someone sells low enough under the buildcost, just buy their stack and sell it for buildcost + profit. |

Around a month, I started off doing missions and then I took up the Power of 2 offer and got an alt.
Trained the alt for contracting, bought low and sold high. Made around 200mil profit per week first month then it continued to escalated, then CCP moved all deadspace/officer/faction stuff onto the market, now we the trading game belongs to the 0.01 isk bots. |

OP is a new pilot, so ignore all the I-did-it-in-2-seconds pilots. They are like blink, they only tell the good parts. You never hear the losses or the times they ****** up, just like any pilot. You need some null or low income though. It took me about two months, as I was learning the game as well. |

I am terrible at making ISK. It took me two years go get the personal wallet above 1b.
That being said, I consider ISK that is not in space, being ISK doing nothing and as such I have spent a lot of (personal) money on Ships, Starbases and Customs Offices. My killboard shows I lost 2.9 billion in PVP ships alone, so I could have had way more by now if I didn't engage in PVP and refused to utilize my private funds to further corporate / alliance goals. However, I get much enjoyment out of accomplishing these goals and they often include some meaningfull PVP, so I consider these good investments no matter how they turn out. |
