It's nice to see some original gameplay.
As for the harrassment thing - well, only if some guy follows you round healing rats all the time. By definition, harrassment has to be a repeated series of actions against someone.

On a serious note, a harassment petition would probably work best.
Healing NPC's is a legitimate tactic (and grounds for some good roleplay too). Another legitimate tactic is for the "victim" to seek revenge either by war deccing the healers corp, blowing up the healer if in low sec, or hiring mercenaries to frag his ass.
Filing petions all the time does nothing but get the nerf bat dusted off, and eve dumbed down even further
Its legitimate if you can attack the healer... get a clue! yea, its quite funny, but if you heal a player attacking someone the healer is also a target... in this situation it is not.
i'm sure this will be looked at... so get your thrills while you can.

what and wait 24 hrs before you can do anything? mission expires by then ;)
seriously this sounds like the ore theft stuff tho, it was riskfree, now its not but with a bunch of unintended side effects. (aka, flag the person healing to you like with cans, but now an apoc can come in there and slightly heal a large npc, then when you fire on them...welll /me wavies.) The Damsel is no longer in distress. She was rescued enough times that she got the hint and installed better security systems at home. |

Seems like all uber "pirates and pvpers" says that this is nice and valid tactic while people who suffers from this says otherwise.
I don't mind if someone is stupid enought to heal those NPC's but at least make it that I can shoot em down too! ________________________________________________________ 400x120@24000 bytes Max. -Capsicum

What's stopping you from attacking the healer? If you're in low sec, where's the problem? If you're in high sec, and you're afraid of an insta-whack from concord, well thats what happens when people petiton constantly for an easy fix instead of figuring stuff out for themselves.

That's what low sec and 0.0 are for.
If you want the protection of Concord while you NPC then you have to risk some annoyances.
I think this is about the funniest new tactic I've heard of yet.

Well now that is a new one...Being unable to do anything to the healer sucks. I think if you heal a npc and your not in the gang you should get shot by the people who are fighing them. when you heal a npc your picking sides and should be include in the mission then as a target.. You want to role play well if you heal the enemy then you should be come the enemy to the other people. Lets take this role bit just a tad farther instead of letting some under age ****er cream his pants by making other people life miserable.

By far the MOST fun is when you log in after DT and chase the 30 other people through the serpentis 3/10 complex (the 2 minutes after the server comes up is the only time you find this complex uncamped) and repair the station at the end that drops the gistii loot :)

Gah you people are really .. sick
Perhaps people should just really understand that this is another risk free griefing and this was one of the first event happened. If there is going to be more people doing this, I think something will eventually happen to this tactic ________________________________________________________ 400x120@24000 bytes Max. -Capsicum

To make this fair you should get a standing hit against the npc faction's enemies, plus maybe the the flagging as already suggested.

This new flavor of piracy is called "Red Cross Ransoming". You don't need a Tec 2 ship. A capa fitted Maller with a med remore repair last out to put your victim under pressure. Simply ask for halve the mission reward to leave him alone. If you be polite you have a good chance to get some easy money.

Yes, you are 100% correct, Concord now pay back all ammo spent on missions and if you lose your ships with named mods, they give you it back with 1 unit of trit.
Please grow a brain and learn the definition of "risk free" before spouting nonsense like this, it's insulting. Unless it has changed in RMR, ship loss affects mission runners as much as anyone else, and is in many cases more frequent.

...and theres me thinking life was too short to play Eve. Some idiot prefers to spend his time with this rather pathetic form of grief play. Don't kid yourself it's about the ransom. The kid at the other end of the cable is s******ing like Beavis while his mate Butthead is sitting in the corner with his **** in his hand. I ask you. Can't we have a server called "HELL" where people like this can play in peace?

funny!!
btw why whinning or petitionning?
its legitimate! it's a very good Roleplaying act! if the healer is "allied" with the faction you was blowing....this is not an exploit or anything
passive piracy
btw sure its boring, if guys make that in my mission will shoot em or just warp out

Well now this is sad...
I came up with this tactic here , as a way to deal with macro miners in empire space with npc's in the belt.
Its such a shame that griefers take this to a new low against players just playing the game.
Of course this will create a need for CCP to "fix" this to dis-allow a clever tactic to help the player war against macro'rs, on account of a few nimords that feel the need to grief people.
I'm now sorry I posted it.
/sigh, "no good deed goes unpunished....."
