Not a stupid question at all. Your math is correct, although there is a possibility that the deployment will complete earlier than the estimated time.

I dont have the exact time for the release of the patch, however, TQ is expected to be up at 2000 GMT tonight. So you dont have to wait another day.

Well seeing I'm in New Zealand, and its now 2:40am in the morning here, I gues I'l have to wait another sleep, I stayed up all night for this patch! O well, there's always another day!

People :) i uploded paches from test pach page instaled them all till version 02.09.3792 still can't get in :((( server status : FULL CLUSTER [0] whot doesit means ??

you are not allowed to log in
servers aren't up yet for the public, looks like some dry starts or something.
and test server patches are not supposed to work on tranquility anyway

It means you did something dumb, delete your Eve dir and install again from CD and download the release cd to RMR patch when it comes out or download the full RMR client when that arrive.
As clearly stated in the test patch - NOT FOR USE ON TRANQUILITY.
still it will stop you from being bored during the DT.

Supposedly ready by 8pm, i will be very surprised if it is, then what i imagine will be a big download so i'm not likely to actually get a game tonight either.
But i'm a patient sort and i can spend the time getting to know my wife again...til the DL's done anyway

I can't understand all the pressure guys, Most of us have been through lot's of patches so why get all stressed.
CCP says 8pm tonight so wait till then to start complaining and moaning. As soon as it's up the rush starts for the download and after many hours trying to down load the patch (barring bugs and jinx's) ppl will start getting online.
In saying that though you did all set long skill training .....didn't you

Could you also please make a torrent file for the RMR patch/upgrade when it comes out? Last time you guys did that ( it was exodus right? ) it worked out great ( for me atleast).

And people please, please, PLEASE! use the bittorrent files or mirrors to download the patch. 70k users trying to autopatch at the same time using the patch on the main server is B-A-D.
Already had that with cold war that the server crashed, needed to restart, crashed again.. lagged very badly.
So, use the bittorrent, my PC will be running to provide some shared downloadpower!

Well while you guys are waiting for the patch, I'l be sleeping, and waking up to the patch, and hopefully the traffic would have slowed down a little bit on the patch downloading frenzy, And I'l be able to download it at a good steady speed hopefully

You should all do what I do when Eve isn't running: Update your webservers.
While it's about as frustrating as you can get, it does kill time. Plus, hey it's productive.
