Have Cable at work - dial-up at home. Have a meeting to go to and then out of office till TUESDAY.
No eve till Tuesday evening (wilf starts to shake :))

Dear Diary,
I woke up today knowing the patch is being installed sometime today. They keep mentioning some GMT time zone but that doesn't make any sense to me. I just know its six o'clock in the morning and I have to get to work. I'm looking forward to the patch and seeing what wonderful advances they have made. Time for work!
8:30 AM I couldn't resist a website peek. They said the website would be down for a bit while they installed. No luck though, it's still up.
9:30 AM Peeked again. It's still up. OOps, here comes my boss.
11:45 AM Whew! Finally got out of that meeting. I'm pretty sure I missed something important but whenever the boss opened his mouth, all I heard was "Your Railgun strikes perfectly wrecking the Serpentis ship for 435 points of damage." over and over again.
1:15 PM Back from lunch and now the server is down. No wait, our internet is down. darn.
4:30 PM Ok, server back up but now EVE Insider is down. Nice pics though! He he, I want a CCP shirt too. Those guys look like they really enjoy their work.
6:00 PM I'd be mining by now. Server still down.
7:00 PM Why can't I just get up and walk away from my computer? I mean, I work in front of one all day. I know, I'll go watch a movie. But then what if the server comes up?
7:05 PM Nope. Server still down.
7:45 PM My roommate thinks I need an intervention. I tried to play Halo PC but that didn't work. I think I had the flag and suddenly felt compelled to minimize the screen and check if the server came back. NOPE it hadn't.
8:15 PM I've taken to the bottle. Hank Williams is playing in the background (There's a Tear in my Beer). All I want to do is mine for a bit. Just a little Jaspet. Just one can. That's all. I'll take on a rat. Just one.
9:45 PM I got a blanket around my shoulders. I refuse to turn on the heat. It's about 40 degrees in the house but I'm afraid my computer might over heat. It never has before but i'm not taking any chances. My roommate has abandoned me to my solitude. I can hear mining lasers behind me and when I turn around, there is an Xbox 360 laughing at me and the server is still down.
10:00 PM Ok, CCP, if you bring up the Server, just for a little while, I promise I will never curse a veldspar roid for being in my way again. In fact. I would love to see a Veldspar roid right about now. Just one. Pretty little roid. Pretty little roid.
11:00 PM Bedtime. I have three meetings tomorrow and must get some sleep but what if the server goes down. I know, I'll sleep here in the computer room.
11:19 PM CCP hates me.
11:20 PM There are battleships in my room locking on me even though my room is .7 space.
11:21 PM It's Concord. CCP is after me and I'm in a shuttle. Oh wait, the server is down. Im immune. ha ha.
11:45 PM OMGWTF! I nodded off! Damn, the server is still down. In the dark of the room, I can see complex jump gate inviting me to activate it. Pretty lights.
12:00 AM Midnight. They're playing with me...they've got camera's in my room and they are studying my movements...good one, CCP! You win! Haha ha!...You've had your little joke now....where's the damn server!....I've got meetings tomorrow--well, later today...I gota getsooomemesleepp............

That is about the most humorous post I've read on a forum in ages. I died laughing in my barracks and I think I woke the guy across the hall up, but he could have been yelling at something else. I was too busy clicking the EVE Patches link over and over to notice....

Funny history and funny patch to come :)
CCP is doing a joke also ? Its not the first April of the year .. CCP stop coding and look at your calendar ... eeeek DONT stop coding but turn your head to the calendar.
Be sure if ya dont launch this patch soon we will see 18K frigate, cruisers, BS targetting Rej and ccp home .. oki in our dreams but where is the reality really ?
Have fun all and to CCP team : thanks for all the fun we got on EvE .. we cant wait to look theses Titans we spoke about since 2003 :)

I swear I must have been in our Legion educational room and a captain in front kept speaking about cargo hauling according to the new rules and regulations, as well as about new weapon and armor certifications. All that yadda yadda you know. 
I am addicted to EVE, today the day felt LONG at work, listening to that lecture we had. And hearing things related to EVE instead of the actual lesson scares me  Umm..should I enter the 0.0 sector outside my apartment or would I be ganked by some crazed cargo haulers (read: xmas shopping ppl) or pierats (read: tourists)

If you read one of Kierons earlier posts he says they will be making changes and fixing bugs for alot of the DT (i.e changing the code) They can hardly release the patch if they are going to change the code can they? Give the guys chance, they'll release it as soon as its ready.

how come the eve team can't give us any info on what time the patch will be on for download. I love the game so i'm waiting like the rest off us but i'm going up the wall, checking the forum every 5 mins to see if it's there yet. disapointed every time it's still not there. can't someone please tell me when will it be ready

I thought i would be smart and get some moon scanning done in the test server...thinking i would have no resistance. all was going well untill i scanned the moon my pos was on to find out it wasn't even the same metal :( so that idea went to down the drain.....lol

Probably because there testing it before we break it & as its not 2000 GMT yet. Dont worry im sure it will be up in good time(fingers, toes, legs & arms crossed)
