WTF , u guys just driving the fun out the game arent u, as I said before I paying to mine roids , for that I just play astroids all the mining u want . if they dont adjust the current settings soon, there is no reason for me to stay here and play the game cause I got this game to fight not not to trade,mine or be a ceo of some corp

Yeah, other than the afterburner nerf this patch rocked. So many problems solved...

Too bad I just killed 2 Sansha's Savages at the stargate. Sigh.
Other than that (locking you when killing NPC pirates, cans or whatever), plus the afterburner/MWD "nerf" (gotten stuck in 4 stations, thanks autopilot), I like it.

Speaking of afterburners - has anyone noticed that the speed boost you get from an AB 1 reaches its top max speed more quickly than a LiF Fueled Booster?
I realise that the LiF's give you a greater boost but it seems to take an inordinate amount of time to reach that top speed.

hey i understand u like a BORING game u can mine all day and sell crap, even trade. but its not what i bought the game for. No u cant have my stuff get ur own stuff, my stuff will die on this server or go to my corp

all mmpog's has it ups and downs. I've been in betas and new realeases. the only solution is to play the game as it is, contribute with bug reports and petitions, post in the forums about what u think should be fixed without having a swearing word in evert sentence, and just wait until the game balanaces itself

Yes, you said that already, you're in it for a fight. So what is wrong in that aspect now, can't redock at SA station when they get your shields down, or jump out in time, or something?..

hey I never said that ,all Im saying is they turning up the other reasons while tuning down the fighting aspect of the game

Are they tuning down the fighting aspects?
I mined for 3 weeks in the last 3 months. The rest of the time I've been killing NPC pirates (plus a little bounty hunting).
Ive not noticed any problems with combat - hell, its got better over time.
So what specifically do you not like about the combat now?
The new patch is great for some of us - now stops pirates running out on us if they start losing. And not noticed any problem with afterburners or MWD. Nice to see how the game has improved gameplay over the last 3 months.
If you honestly don't like some aspect of the game, then don't do that thing. If it annoys you that much, play something else.

I was fighting angels tonight and had to jump away from a belt because I was taking damage so I jumped to the nearest thing which happened to be a station. The next thing i know is I am in my pod because the sentry guns have opened up on me for no reason.
My sec rating is good and had done nothing to the station. I didnt even try to dock

Try to be more constuctive in the future plz.
Saying if they dont change then youll quit doesnt help, they have changed things. You need to say specifically what you thing needs changing, and how it should be changed, and the reasons why it should be changed, or you post is pretty much useless.

He is RUS, naturally he is complaining that he can't fight at stations and use the dock undock to refresh his shields. Tbh I'm glad that one is gone  |

Likewise, the next thing we need is being able to warp to every deep space scan result. This way the game becomes more tactical and strategical.
I think developers have mentioned something in the Carebear Support Mob (CSM). I am looking forward to it.

The only change made to fighting in this patch was removing the ability for cowardly combatants, (eh, RUS?, eh?) to hide next to stations/gates and jump out when the shields drop below 80%!
Scrapyard Jack can see why RUS would deplore such a development, given their fighting "style", however ol' Jack is in favour of the new changes, as they will inevitably lead to more prolonged, involved battles and consequently, more death (which is always fun).
ehehehe! .. you can run, RUS .. but you can't dock!

Raid, nice to see your still in game...I've wondered how things have been going for you. However, it is unclear in your post exactly what you find undesirable about the current "combat" situation in game. Leaving us all to asume, and wonder...what in gods name you actually mean. Therefore your post can not be understood as anything but whining. Sorry bud, buts thats what it looks like. Its unclear how, "to be clear", fighting has been deminshed in the game by the latest patch, or is it just that it's no longer so easy/simple to get out of a losing battle thats got you so riled? I say this, due to the fact that the really miserable nerfs to combat happened ages ago...and they actually where a nasty form of bait and switch....but how is this new patch anything like that?
On a seperate note....
I think its amusing how everyone gets so passionatly involved about someones "irriated with eve atm" post. Who gives. Everyone should take a look at this post (http://oldforums.eveonline.com/?a=topic&threadID=25904) "EVE AND THE VENOM IN PEOPLE)....then continmue to post.
However...i have to say, although the new patch makes combat more difficult...it also makes it more fair. You can no longer be a coward pirate... or engage in cowardly combat. You have to be fully commited to the operation...now matter what happens.
Neverthless...these people...and you know who you are, that slam every pirate and ask them to leave, "please take your own advice," you obviously have misuderstood the full scope of the game. Eve is about a great deal more than mining/trading/corp management/...it also includes pirates and other forms of agressive pvp, claiming space, corp warfeare etc etc...not just mining/trading pvp. ANd YES these passive types of activities are also pvp.
I wish everyone would realize that nearly everything that can happen in game...is meant to...so if you're a miner or whatever and you get podded by some "horrible awfull wicked terror of a pirate"...suck it up...you accepted it in the terms of aggrement, and have therefore formally stated that your are willing to be a victim...willing to accept everything that happens to you, "that is not a bug". I think cpp has made it clear that piracy is not a bug or an exploit...but a legitament form of roleplay. So quit slagging the pirates for podding you....they're supposed too. You're supposed to be smart enough to figure out how not to get pirated. Not prove your a fool everytime you get podded by whine about it on forums...and gettting snarky at every pirate in the game.
PS...I'm not a pirate...atm.

He's almost got a point.
I've been playing since beta and all I ever do is mine...trade..mine...trade...kill a few npcs.
I have a battleship and our corp is developed. But now what?
I want to have huge wars! I want some PVP!! It's gotten to much like happy candy land. People who love this game either havn't been playing a lot or enjoy mining a lot.
When will people get off the rocks and strap on some cannons!!
