Isn't this a bit excessive for a Level 2 mission ?
By my calculations, 40,000 tritanium requires about 54 batches of 333 Veldspar, thats around 1800 cargo units.

Which should take about 3 minutes to mine.

Or just buy 40k of trit, all my lvl2 missions gave me more than 40k as a reward. Mercenary | The Azath |

So you're saying level 2 missions need an Industrial ship ?
Oh and it pays around 23,000 ISK.

I've had worse deals. You don't do agent jobs for the money, you do it for the connections.
Although 40k trit is a bit rofl.
My level 2 only asks for 1000 .

That is strange. My level 1 agent usually ask for 1000 units Tritanium and my level 3 agent asked at most 8000 units of Tritanium so far.
I would report it as a bug tho. |

Had the 40,000 tritanium mission once. Simply bought it, couldn't be arsed to sit and stare at the rocks for so long.
Fortunately it's pretty rare and hey, who's to say the agent can't try to rip you off on the payment every now and then.... :s
Lvl.3 agents have strange affection for Pyerite, btw. They order 1000 units in a batch at least once-twice a day and pay quite well... i suspect they make trails of it on the table and sniff it while drinking all that wine they make me buy and watching their weekly shipment of holo****... o.o;

I'm interested how Joshua mines at 100 units/second :)
I actually had loads of Tritanium hanging around in two storage places, I added it up and it was around 50 units short :(

I also sometimes had weird missions with completely stupid things (like a request for a few thousand uranium L ammo which would cost far more than the reward of 50k) but in 99% of the cases the missions have profit. And in 80% of the cases they are really good (bring me 246 omber and I give you 97k + timebonus)

That's most certainly a buggy mission. If anybody spots it again, sending the mission journal info in a bug report would be appreciated so I can spot what mission this is.

You think that is buggy , I had a lvl 2 on Saturday which asked me for 39 units of Zydrine. Even after refining some loot I still had to buy 25 units at approx 1400 a pop.
So I spent about 65000 isk to get 28000 back , i was gonna complain but upon completing that misson I got a Lvl 3 so it kinda mellowed me out.
Someone needs to address this though as spending more than you get back is a bit of p*ss take So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

What the Drunken one said.
Not ALL the missions offer an instant profit, its what your gaining in the long run that is the profit. ---------------- ~= Askari =~

The profit margins on the level 3 agent missions titled "An Ally in need - v2 v3 v4" are a bit low.
10-15k from high quality level 3 agents is a bit low. I get this off the same missions, but level 2 agents.

Edited by: Hellek on 02/09/2003 17:08:48 I also had a mission where I had to buy an unusual big amount of minerals and it also was a mission where I got a lvl3... (and in my case it was not as bad, I lost about 10k I think) Was a few days ago.

With 5 miner2 and 10 harvesters there is no problem to mine 100 veld/sec. Xerxes
