Also please read the warning in the mission journal:
"Infiltrate the Amarr complex and destroy the control tower. Bring back its contents to your agent. Be wary that after approximately 1 hour after you enter the complex, the Amarr fleet, currently stationed elsewhere, will arrive to reinforce the defenders. You will probably not be able to survive their attack, so be fast!"
If you don't do this mission fast, you'll be faced with a large battleship spawn which you probably won't be able to beat .
Otherwise the spawn will consist of only 3 cruisers and 5 frigates, which shouldn't be too hard for a level 3 mission.

Not a complaint session but just a small suggestion. Can the timing be extended to 2hrs instead? This is because, sometimes due to bad lag or real life issues (bio break, boss calls you, wife/kids need your attention) we might have to go afk after accepting the mission.
Or alternatively, can mission runners have the option to reject the offered mission without having to accept it first? This is to prevent unnecessary loss of standing etc.
The recent lag issue is really affecting some people to an extend that some have lost many ships. Might be encouraging to the community if CCP is taking some of the suggestions into consideration. Just my 2 cents

The Amarr fleet mentioned conssts of at least -
1x Apocalypse 2x Armageddons 5x Mallers
and numerous others
The hardest part of the mission is actually the first bit when you warp in 2km from 10 caldari interceptors and your constantly being jammed/damped by 2 moas
plus at least one of the two group of 10 stealth bombers will also aggro

You already can, once every 4 hours or so. If you do it more often, you'll loose some standing.

I actually did pre-nerf the timer, so in fact it's quite a bit over 1 hour. If real-life causes you to be delayed, the only thing I can suggest is getting friends to help you complete it or quit the mission. The standing hit shouldn't be devastating.
Also remember that the dungeon system is reset after a reboot. So you can in fact leave the mission, log on the next day, and the dungeon is reset so you have another hour to complete it before the reinforcements arrive.

Zrakor, is it possible that these waves could also be affected by the 'randmo time to complete', much like the rewards are?

not 100% true though.. i had a problem with a mission, (took to long so the special jada jada i had to deliver popped) so i desided i would rather lose the timebonus and not the standing, the day after there was no respawn, so i took a -1.0 standing hit with that agent :O( just a warning...

This mission is hard, with a risk of getting your ass podded if you don't pay attention and/or are over confident.
I wouldn't even try this in too weak a ship, i had trouble in a tempest.

1. Get new internet provider 2. Wear "Depends" while doing missions 3. Take phones off hook 4. Lock kids in closet 5. Give wife your credit card

zrakor I did the 2nd missions, I manage to jump in the gate and I got hit by 4 gamma support frigate and 3 blackbird at same time, but that's not all, after taking out the gamma support frigate, I noticed I was just getting hit by missile from out of no where, my damage text read, Amarr missile hit you for XXXX, no ship name, just Amarr missile. I did not see any amarr ship anywhere either.
not sure if it's a bug or not.

I enjoyed this mission So long as u read the info & don't assume that it'll be a walk in the park, you'll be okay.
2nd part was fun & glad i had a Large armor rep on or it could have got ugly!!
For those that can't do it (not trying to be sarcastic here) I suggest u move back to lvl 2's & wait til you've more combat skills
and then moving back to the lvl 3's. They were getting too easy & glad there's a challenge back to them now.
Keep up the good work CCP ______________________________________

I did this mission as test o f the new drones work. I normaly solo run lvl 4, or do them in gang with some local it was first time i did it, and found very nice. I like the story and all. In my opmion it is keep the right tank and all works fine. i Only got acrop one groupe a time, wich mean ok to do even with not super skill and solo. (but i might be biased though since I am not new to this game *cough*)
HAve fun and fly only what you prepared to loose best regards MonaLisa Overdrive

I really like this mission.
It's a walk in the park in my Sacrilege, it's a fun story in which to get involved, and the combined LPs from the 5 stages are really cool.

This is a totally insane level of difficulty for a level 3 mission!
I warped in for the second stage and got scrambled then absolutely blown to bits. I managed to destroy about 3 enemy teckling ships and have just warped back in my pod to see what's still sitting around ...
3 Caldari Navy Blackbird 3 Caldari Navy Griffin 2 Caldari Navy Moa 4 Caldari Navy Officer 7 Caldari Navy Soldier
I went and did the mission straight after I accepted it (green in journal), not straight after it was initially offered (yellow in journal). The timer starts when it's accepted, not offered, right?
I lost a Tempest and a few decent fittings. Not great.

Fun mission, but second part does indeed catch you by surprise. The caldari navy blackbirds hit pretty hard if you ain't prepared for kinetic dmg. Was using a muninn with no hardeners cos i expected lasers mostly from this mission (in the end you fight cal navy more than anything), so i took a bit of a beating. Cleared it just fine in the end, and the timer for the amarr fleet coming as reinforcements keeps you quite active. ________________________________________

Ya, i learned about this mission the hard way, i ended up losing my megathron to the Amarr doom spawn, and took a .4 standing loss to my agent becuase i could not complete the mission D:!. So if your in a slow ship, I suggest a tackler if you are close range, or get a sniper set up, so you can kill the sniper moas quickly. Learn from my mistake and have a tackler :[

Was mid way through taking out the Amar Navy Omen's when the rest of their fleet came in. Turning to warp out and get scrambled. My Geddon lasted about 60 secounds. Didn't we used to get a little hint that scramblers may be used? Guess WCS have to become standard kit now.

Yeah I've always got 2 stabs now just on the 'If **** happens'. But I'm liking the sound of these new ships. If you pop the amarr fleet you'd get faction loot (IF the loot tables where fixed.)

Hah, well, this made me feel better, i jumped into the second part of this yeaterday in a tank setup prophecy and got absolutely butchered, barely made it out as a flamming fireball, everything agro'd me instantly upon arrival, I had accepted the mission then set off straight away to do it, was well under the hour.
Please drag the accel gate landing point back 20K or so from the middle of the spawn so you don't auto-agro everything in the area upon arrival.
I took a .2 faction hit for quiting the mission, better that than end up shopping for more equipment on the refit.

Well guys, keep on whining and we get yet another great mission nerfed back to stoneage.
Remember about a year ago when Mordus hit's us, ppl lost 50 battleships the very first day, so plz stop this and just go out there and finish the job. Very simple actually, playing the game on these boards is just lame.

Have any of you tried or seen the 10 stage mission of the same ilk, (the name escapes me at the mo) It consists of kill and courier missions until the last one which completely took me by surprise. I had to rescue some chick from the control tower and when i got to the last complex there stood the control tower a fleet of agro'd frigs and a total of 8 battleships racing to reach me. 4 on each side, 4 ravens 4 scorpions and a ton of lesser ships. My tip for this mission after almost losing me apoc is to kill all the agro'ing frigs and cruisers destroy the tower at range and get the hell out. Then come back in a REALLY fast frig to pick open the can the control tower left behind, anything slower than 1200m/s will see you dead.
The prize inside the towers can is a +3 int implant.

It's not really whining. I think it's a legitimate cause for complaint when suddenly a mission that is supposedly level 3 pops up out of nowhere that gives no clue as to the chance of imminent doom upon warp in.
There is no clue given with the mission rewards, they were pretty average. The mission blurb gives dire warning of Amarr fleet turning up after an hour, so it's a bit naughty throwing in a severe Caldari death squad that all aggro all at once immediately upon warp in and scramble you too.
However I'll try to take my medicine like a man and not cry too much more.
I make the following note to remind myself and others:
- Check board for details of new missions
- Check mission out yourself in a shuttle first
- Give the mission due respect and kit out suitably, don't think you'll cruise through it and fit loads of damage mods and no hardners!

Especially straight after a patch. I remember Spy Stash the first time I did it too!
