My fellow miners, I think we should see this as an opportunity. Lets not begrudge those who are participating in this crusade against miners. If you are a miner take a hulk, tank it well get a friend to remote rep you and go mine. Take into consideration that gankers are bad at math and will still try to attack your lone hulk with only a couple of cruisers, this will result in a hilarious concordoken. One thing that you must always remember is that a good tank does not mean shield boosters. You want buffer and resistances. You want small shield extenders and invulnerability fields. I know that this works because there are several people doing it and many gankers have died in the process. I think killboard links are not allowed in the forum, but if you google "Test Alliance's killboard" you will see one system in the campaign against ice miners that has a 30% efficiency. The reason for the low efficiency is that there was some resistance in that system. I would mention the Goon killboard, but that is a horribly designed killboard, and they are missing a lot more deaths than Test Alliance is. One of the problems with Concord is that they kill gankers so fast is hard to get in the killmail. If you do decide to do this remember that anything can be killed in high sec. No matter how much buffer you get, how high your resistances get or how many people you get to rep you. However, there are two other characteristics of a ganker that work on your favor. Gankers are not only bad at math, they are also lazy {if they realize it takes having to put together battlecruisers or heaven forbid a battleship, they will probably leave you alone}. The last factor working for you is that gankers are disorganized. I have had a couple of battleships die while trying to gank me because the second battleship started to shoot 5 seconds after the first and allowed the reps to cycle. So far 19 gankers have died and my little hulk is still mining ice. My guess is that now that I am posting in the Eve Forums, I have just painted a target on the hulk and will find a fleet of a dozen tempests waiting for me next time I take it out. That would be fun for me. As much as I have been trying to get them to attack me the last two nights that I have been out mining, they are now refusing to engage, which of course makes me sad.

How much EHP would you need to sustain a drive-by-gank?

The EHP depends on what the ganker brings and how many friends he has. Sometimes I wish I had a couple of friends in sensor boosted scorpions with me just in case they actually bring enough numbers. Nothing will stop you from getting the first salvo however. You can't ecm someone in high sec unless they are already red.

First, I am not here to taunt you, and I am not here to cry. You guys decide how you want to play this game, and I decide how to play my game. Hopefully, we can meet somewhere in space and fire lasers at each other. I find it a little dishonest that you imply that I am making this up. The main reason that I am here is that the last time that you guys tried to gank me was this Saturday and since then I have been mining three times and you no longer show up. If you doubt me ask Gerard Gendri, Frogs, and Simthug how their thoraxes and brutix are doing, they were the last goon heroes that tried it last Saturday. Listen, I understand and empathize with your problem. You see someone with a little bit of a tank and repping help, and think that it is an impossible target. We both know it is not, all it takes is a couple of gank fit battleships, in your case lets make it three to be sure. Come gank me, I get a couple of killmails you get the hulk and can come back and claim victory. Another thing that I do not understand is how you guys claim that you do not care in one hand, but on the other hand you seem to care enough to first declare war on the little inactive alliance of 40 characters, and then declare war on my small 4 character corporation. For people that do not care, you guys seem awfully concerned about little me.
