Hi all. Been floating around EVE for a while in my Megathron and decided that it's time for a second BS. Looking at the Raven because I've heard many good things about it. I'm not to keen on Raven setups really. All I know is that most people fit 6x Cruise in highs and depending on application change meds between distributed tank and just using Invuln Fields. Am looking for input on both a PVE setup for complexes/missions (Lv 3's/4's. Have yet to try soloing a 4) and also a PVP setup to deal with annoying war mongers that dec on us. Would be greatly appreciated to get some input. Thanks in advance. Very Happy

Alright, these all seem like good setups. Will train what I need and do what I must and no I'm not going to skimp Smile. Keep the setups coming, this will most likely help a lot of other people as well. ugh

Personally I've owned a Raven, Navy Raven and recently a Rattlesnake but the basic Raven isn't that much worse than the other two providing you set it up right.

I tried Cruise but found they took to long to break some of the bigger BS npcs, esp if there was more than one. I would just leave my drones to deal with frigs and as you're a Mega user I would imagine your skills in drones are fairly good.

I've used these in my setup but generally in all 3 ships they've remained the same with a few changes depending on which one I was flying:

6-7 Arbalest/DG Siege
1x DG Shield Boost
1x DG Shield Amp
3-4 Pith/DG Hardeners
3-4 PDU T2s
2-3 DG/BCU T2s

The reason for the named stuff is sometimes the extra performance but it also helps with fitting...however even with standard stuff you can generally make a very nice Raven providing you have the skills, I should also point out it might be worth getting the new Shield Compensation skills.

ALthough I did recently sell the RS as torp spamming without risk was getting slightly boring....well without risk from npcs but maybe a CCP crash risk Very Happy

Hmm this setup seems appealing, and I can switch to Cruise if need be as well, and Torps also. Will keep it in mind along with the rest, much thanks Smile
