Use it to keep yourself from having to grind ISK in an asteroid field. Personally, I wanted to PvP so I have spent it on ships and skillbooks.

run level 4 missions and get lots of ISK so I could do frigate pvp without wasting money. |

Ah... memories.... great memories....
Cannibal Kane is a great guy. I also met him in the same way you did. The man is powered by bacon. Unfortunately for you, he has a woman at home that constantly feeds him bacon.
My suggestion is to either pay his fee or inform your corp not to login for 2-3 weeks. See Bio for isk doubling rules. -áIf you didn't read bio, chances are you helped fund those who did. |

Fair Enough. The thing is, even though you are running PvE missions, you can lose a ship. There is a very real reason why you don't undock with a ship you do not want to lose. I personally won't fly anything that cost more than 10% of the cash I have on hand. I am only just now moving into Cruisers. Others may disagree, but that is what I go by.
If I am running missions, or mining, I want to make sure that my ship can pay for itself in 3 runs. 3 trips to an asteroid belt will pay for a venture. 3 missions ought to pay for a new dessie. I am not talking primo fits either, just enough to complete the mission.

Gonna butt in here. You clearly said something that pissed him off, and now you're being butthurt about it on the forums which is only going to make matters worse for yourself.
I have spoken with Kane in game and he's actually a really nice guy. Ferocious, PvP orientated and deadly, but a reasonable guy none the less. As a noob myself, the guy actually helped me out and gave me a lot of sound advice and stuff. I hope to one day meet him on the field of battle.
Best thing you can do is to earn the guys respect. Hell, show some innitiative, take your battleship meet him on the field of battle but hire a tonne of players to fly by your side and fleet with you. When he engages, you fight with your allies. You'll probably all die a nasty death but at least you will have attempted to actually do something about it...
He has given you a way out of it... Use your head and do something about it... If you're fighting in a "fair" (lol) one on one fight, then you are doing something terribly wrong! Learn to do things that will give you the advantage... Quoted from Doc Fury: "Concerned citizens: Doc seldom plays EVE on the weekends during spring and summer, so you will always be on your own for a couple days a week. Doc spends that time collecting kittens for the on-going sacrifices, engaging in reckless outdoor activities, and speaking in the 3rd person." |

Yeah and? Not being funny, but if the OP shows some innitiative and takes the guy head on and shows use of tactics and ways to gain an advantage, that would probably stand in his favour... But instead no, he just creates this post instead... It's how rookie griefers work. They feed on easy kills. If they don't get any kills they usually give up and move to grief other rookies. |

I've been in contact with him and the only way he'll withdraw the dec is for me to fight him in my battleship. The one I spend -ú15s on to afford via plex and can't even use in missions. I'm not going to waste that kind of money on nothing.

Sandbox... Jesus the guy has been given so many options in this thread and there are many more that he could think of... Hell Cannibal himself stated a way out but he didnt take it.

War is one of several game mechanics meant to prevent high-sec from bring 100% safe. The only way to avoid a war is to disband your corp and stay in an NPC corp. Setup a chat channel and get all your corpies to join it, probably will give you most of the game benefits your current corp does. Otherwise, war is one of the risks of being in a high-sec corp.
A word to the wise. If you don't want to be war dec'd, keep your head low and don't call attention to yourself or the fact that you have expensive ships you don't know how to use. Correction. We've killed the crap out of cynabals with rapiers. Every ship has a counter. Of course, if you can fly a rapier and kill his cynabal you will need to know the counter to the rapier as he's probably about to come kill it. |

1. Don't log in and wait until Kane drops the wardec (unlikely, as he'd probably just wardec again when you start logging in) 2. Learn to PVP 3. Hire allies to defend you 4. Yea, but that won't protect you from peckerwoods like me who like to gank NPC corp members just because of that. I think anyone older than a month should be in a player corp.
I excercise my patented "gank and greet" against brand new players less than 2 weeks old when i catch them mining from time to time though. New players get several positive things from this.
1. an isk payout of between 25 and 100M isk depending upon their attitude. 2. the first death mail 3. kill rights to learn about 4. generally an invitation to fly with myself and more experienced players to help the new guys learn the game faster 5. ship fitting advice 6. opportunity to be a part of the eve community. |

Although I agree with what Kane is up to (sorry man, your foruming is terribad) I can offer some advice.
Kane and his boys are high sec pirates. Move to low sec. It will shake them off of your back...most of them...for little while...as well as giving you the experience that you desperately need to stop sound like a jerk on the forum.
Take it for what you will. Also, since he is killing you over forum posts maybe consider not posting to the forum. You are feeding the wild animals. |
