Please stop ******* with the agents.
A week ago isaziwa agents are moving. Fine no problems. The inoue agent I was doing for the past week is also moving. Please, stop ******* with things that are fine and start fixing things that are ****** up.
That is all.

I think they are moving some agents from extremely crowded systems in an attempt to reduce lag in those crowded systems. Don't look upon this as a bad thing yet.

I just find it a tad annoying. A week ago isaziwa agents said they where moving, miss out on 2 angel-x missions aswells (lvl 3's). So I do the inoue agents. Today, I get 3 isaziwa agents in and one inoue (lvl 3's), DT hits, Isaziwa agents are moving aswell as the inoue agents (Including a lvl 4)
What tops that is they aren't avaliable till next year. Can a dev/mod please make a list of agents which aren't moving around? It'd be good to build up LP in an agent that won't be moving so the LP goes to some use.

1 thing to add... I think its good to hear that CCP is trying to fix the scary increase of lag in this game.. however I dont see what difference itll make, since all people will be moving with the agents... a q18 agent is hard to find, so if they want people spread out more, they gotta come up with more and better agents.. (or get new servers??) its great so many people play this game, but if the gameplay is ruined because of that, I reckon u can argue against the idea...??? regards Jay

There are suppsoed to be a lot of agent fixes next year...
Its been hinted that lp will be by npc corp, not individual agent.
Its been sugested that in addition to moving the most popular agents they clone them and give people the optin of which to transfer the lp to.
ccp is obviously taking the first step to improving the agent system in general and perhaps in an unintentional way providing a subtle reminder that there is more to life, especially in this holiday season, then eve online.

Edited by: Angelic Resolution on 22/12/2005 13:53:10 I just hope CCP freeze NPC corp standings + player > NPC corp + NPC corp > player standings over the next 10 days otherwise there will be so many rants and whines that it isn't funny.
I would also like to hear what people think of this in corps that are entirely based around one of the agents that are moving.. Because as far as I can tell, people are already ****ed at it (Myself included) so waiting for the corps who agent 'farm' will be highly amusing.

if u had paid attention u would have known which systems were gonna be affected by the relocation of agents. they were listed by oveur in one of his blogs.
u have had plenty of notice that this was gonna happen so stop whining.

I don't mind the agents moving to less crowed systems, but could CCP just move them one DT? Then do all the LP/cloning changes you want. Agents just stopping giving missions is far more annoying then realising I have a x jump ammo haul to do.
Having to wait a couple of weeks to use the agents I've built up lp and standing with is a bit of a pain in the arse.

I like that they are moving the agents and I hope that the new system will not be so popular as Inoue is. But making it 14 or 15 days isjust to long, and OVER X-mas :S I donŠt wine offen but come on CCP. I rather play CounterStrike or something, then siting in station waying for agent to give out new missions. ------------------------------------------- Member of 3FA |

Come to Marganis and go ratting then. It's notably more profitable - 950k bs showing up in belts regularly, and you can just spend like, all day shooting them.

Can't you just do the missions in the existing location until a day or so before they move and then just move your stuff? Thankfully the only agent of mine that may move is a storyline agent ut of ours so i'm not really too concerned. Level 3 agents over here in Gallente space dont do too much crowding, maybe 50 people at max in the system with the agent and there's another 6 stations.

If it where a simple matter of having to not have them for an hour or two or even four hours it'd be no problems. But the agents take 1 week to move station, which a week without our lvl 3's + 4's is just stupid, not even I can mine for a week straight or go ratting for a week straight or a mix of the two.

Maybe CCP should add a system where u can get missions from another system. And the agent can give u your reward in his station and every week - or whenever u like u haul that stuff. That would be a good idea i think.

Indeed, this has seriously screwed up my plans. I was going to accumulate the rest of the LPs i need for my faction battleship during christmas vacation, but i am now unable to talk to the agent. So what am i gonna do now? Just stare around for 2 weeks? I ask you CCP, is it really necessary to wait 2 weeks just to move the agents?

This is a little crazy. Move the agents due to lag and overcrowding in some select systems, yea sweet idea. Make all the agents move at the same time, sure that sounds good. Oh but all the agents will take 2 weeks before you can use them again in there new place even tho there at the same station still.... thats plain dumb.
I now cant make isk for 2 weeks or play eve with my corp (oooh wait, why dont i do an overcrowded/camped complex in the mean time ), as we are all mission runners.
Can we please get a 1/2 month rebate on our subscriptions, or do we just file a 'stuck' petition as we are unable to play the game. I bet you wouldnt dare remove all asteroids for two weeks while 'ballencing mining' now would you - ccp thow us a frikin bone here, im bored and its the holidays man, the freakin holidays!!!!!

i agree, this is a royal pain in the arse to not be able to keep using your current agent up untill the final move. i trust that the very capable people of CCP is working on a resolution to this issue as we speak

"Not everyone takes the time to read blogs" Seriously? Is this the best you can do? You can take the time to whine, but not read a blog, or better yet, read back a page or two and see that there are already like 4 threads about this? Good grief. I didn't want to dignify this with a bump, but it just hits the wrong nerve.
I do agree, however, that the timing stinks. The length of time total, I have no feeling one way or the other, but there are a lot of people who will get some extra time to play over the holidays. Well, perhaps some mining or belt hunting.

Nothing else was needed. My corp and several others don't read the dev blogs, as well as the other people who have posted about this problem. They obviously don't read it, there by the comment "Not everyone takes the time to read blogs" was used, because it's a generalisation that fits perfectly.
