Everything turned on except the music. As nice as the music is, it does get a tad tedious after a while. The sound effects are awesome and meaty :). Jukebox is a very useful function thanks :) |

UI sounds only cuz it helps to make the game more playable with as clunky, slow and laggy the UI can be.
ie. did i actually click it (activate gate or warp to for example, and well, yes I clicked it, but is the game actually acknowledging that fact), cuz i cant use my hotkeys cuz there could be a random chat window open or I might be using my push to talk or my UI might still be lagging 5 seconds after the screen loads and I can't do **** but my shields are already melted so I am spam clicking with my mouse pointer 50 times a second on stuff that I can actually do that to. Unfortunately turning on my ship mods will have to wait a second after my UI starts working cuz the last thing I want to do is turn them off again and wait for them to finish lagging after turning them off just so I can turn them back on again.
So yeah, UI sounds only. |

Sound adds to the immersion for me so i have it on. However blasters sound irritatingly bad, and i hope the blaster wheezing noise changes with the winter expansion, but i doubt it. |

I keep the sound on, I think that when you start turning off the sound the game turns from fun into a chore, so I don't wanna do it
about the music, all I have to say is: what a yawnfest! egad!
that is all That is all. |

Red Templar wrote:No. But I actualy like eve music. Especially deadspace tracks.
But since eve is most fun when playing with other people, and best way to communicate is via voice (ts/mumble/evevoice/whatever), sounds only distract. so they are turned off most of the time. All of them.
This. Though if I ever mission in highsec while being anti-social I will turn on UI and effect, then switch on Pandora.

Waaaaaaaaaaay too confusing when you multi-box
Off unless I'm recording something that requires it on ---- CONCORD arrested two n00bs yesterday, one was drinking battery acid, the other was eating fireworks. They charged one and let the other one off. |

I have everything on, only because I haven't shut it off and I am kind of digging the eve music right now. There's no such thing as Space Pirates, only Space Bears with eyepatches and speech impediments. |

Halcyon Ingenium wrote: I want to listen to Flash Gordon by Queen, not some random techno track, when I have acquired the penchant for mission running.
Wait someone actually listens to this track for anything beyond comedic value? I couldn't hear any part of it with out grinning.
And I didn't even realize that guns had sound effects... I just kind of thought it was lost in the vacuum of space....
Why aren't the turret sounds turned on by default? |

I have sound on. When you are a looter for station games, its best to know when people are shooting without having to look around all the time.
When doing anything else though, sound is off. |
