Please describe how you enjoy your EVE sounds.
Everything turned on? Music only? UI only? Effects only? Etc.
Myself: UI only. |

No. But I actualy like eve music. Especially deadspace tracks.
But since eve is most fun when playing with other people, and best way to communicate is via voice (ts/mumble/evevoice/whatever), sounds only distract. so they are turned off most of the time. All of them. For Love. For Peace. For Honor.
For None of the Above.

As far as I know the only purpose of sound in Eve is a wormhole alarm system. |

All but the music, but that only because I'm not given over to listening to much music. My only problem with the audio is when I am listening to my own music, and the EVE music kicks in when I pass through an acceleration gate. That is ******* annoying; I want to listen to Flash Gordon by Queen, not some random techno track, when I have acquired the penchant for mission running. The loser in any fight consols himself with a moral victory. Thus is the beginning of slave-morality. |

"WHAT?! I CAN'T HEAR YOU OVER THE LASERS!" -a fleet member to the FC in a recent Incursion mom fleet.
I tried turning on the sounds the other day. But they started making me feel mentally ill, so shut them off the next day. |

All sound except music.
I do like the EVE music, but when I run missions I get really irritated when activating a warp-gate, and the pleasant music I'm enjoying is replaced by that bloody annoying mission track
If I could turn off (or better still nuke into oblivion) the "mission" music, I'd have the EVE jukebox playing too... |

I have all the sounds on except the music. The problem is, even with the master level all the way up, EVE's sound is terribly out of sync with Windows Media Player, so I usually have trouble hearing it. Let's...just assume there's some kind of signature here, 'k? ... ... OH WAIT. |

All sounds on though have effects turned down a lot. Depending on my mood I will be listening to eve music or my own tracklist, atm I am back listening to the eve music. |

All sounds on, music from iTunes
Sounds are an absolutely vital part of the UI, I can't imagine playing without. Decloaking sounds, locking sound (yes I have auto-targeting on for faster reaction to being targeted), shield/armor level alerts etc.
Also, the sound designers have done a very good job. Wormhole athmosphere is awesome because of the sounds <3 |

No music. All other sounds on. Living in w-space sound is necessary to hear the wh's activate especially if you're tabbed over to the browser looking at interwebz prpÇçn waiting for that noob to jump through. We want breast augmentations and sluttier clothing in the NeX! |

Mixed. All sounds except music are always on, no matter the situation (missions, fleet, solo pvp,...). For music, it's different depending on the situation.
- Sometimes it's off. Usually when doing fleets. - While doing missions, industry and other carebear stuff, EVE's music is usually on @ 10-15% volume. It nicely removes the silence and can be in the background at that volume even if I'm on teamspeak. - I use EVE's jukebox to play some non-eve music while doing solo pvp. I don't like having multiple applications opened at the same time and EVE's jukebox does the job pretty good. |
