Edited by: Dragonol on 31/12/2005 22:52:22 You should be able to modify all cells that are shaded blue. All other cells are protected. *Edit: For example: you should be able to change the prices for minerals, etc, but not the actual mineral name. ______________________________________

Ah, It could be your version of excel. It might not support the "Allow users to edit ranges.." function. When was your excel released? ______________________________________

Great spreadsheet!
I think I may have found a problem, though it could be an error on my part.
I'm having problems with the Mining Calculator sheet. I entered 10 names, and just plugged in some random numbers into mineral amounts and mining times. It calculates the ISK share for the first person okay, but the next 2 cells contain "0" in the first one, and "#VALUE!" in the second. The next cell has a correct ISK Share, then the next 2 are screwy like the others. This pattern repeats down the list.
This is just a problem I found when playing with the sheet, I wasn't entering any "actual" data.
I'm using MS Office 2003.

The ship calculator is great. I'm new but it's the first time I've ever seen a DPS tool. Thank you for releasing it to the community.

Yeah, I just threw stuff into that ship calculator sheet (there could be moreà). I think my next task should be to add more to the DPS section and maybe calculators for different combat areas. I didn't want to get skills involved (where you have to select your skill levels). In my opinion, the more values the user has to change and refer to his character sheet, the more likely he will stick to his trusty hand calculator. If you guys/gals think adding skills wouldn't make a huge hassle for the user, I can implement that. (For example: Select your missile skill levels, etc... and it will output the amount of damage a selected launcher/ammo would do. OR adding a refining calculator that you have to input your skill levels and standings into?)

While morphite prices are listed and editable on the prices sheet, there is no morphite listed on the build calculator sheet(s). edit-(NM, it's listed on the T2 side)
I do like it though, thank you for sharing it.

Aye, no problem. As for the morphite - The tech 1 side of the build sheet is for the tech 1 variant of the module or ship you are building. The tech 2 side is what you would need to turn that T1 item into a T2 item. (For Example: The build requirements for a Rupture go into the left side (where only minerals are), and the requirements for the Muninn go under the right side. The total build is the price of both the T1 variant and the T2 materials.) Hope that explain my thought process :). ______________________________________

How about adding some ice stuff on there as well :)
*Edit*
Also on the POS setup page - How about letting us chose which control tower we want to use. Right now only Minmater control tower is available.

Looks good. Haven't used it yet. But will attempt that next time i need to cost something out.
Any possibility of only having the mineral prices on one page instead of just about every page? That's something that we added into the spreadsheet that i usually use - get's annoying after a while if you have to change mineral prices on 9 sheets :( (Plus, that spreadsheet only deals with ship construction).
More later.

@Komi -> There are prices on 9 different sheets, but you only modify the "Prices" sheet. Changing those values changes every other price in the spreadsheet. The one page controls them all =). The prices on other sheets are protected, and cannot be modified. ______________________________________
