1st) Even if the OP would have posted with his main, i wouldnt believe it, unless he would provide rock hard evidence. Posting it with an alt ruins its credibility, and i wouldnt be suprised if someone would write a letter to the mods to close down the thread / warn the guy for trolling / posting obvious flame baits.
2nd) The only time i heard about bookmarks last night was when we discussed it with a few corpmates, that five is most probably using all their alts to generate lag in D7, by copying bookmarks in jita. Now the funny part is, that we were joking.. i dont think anyone would be stupid or low enough to actually do it. That you five / bob guys post/comment such nonsense about us on the EVE-O boards shows a lameness i will not comment any further.
3rd) What the five alts pick up on our alliance comms is one thing. What happens is another. When i say: "Let's run around and kill everybody", i do not become a serial killer automatically. It is called a stupid idea, which even i realize that we shouldnt do. If i wouldnt, you most probably would, and would also stop me from doing it. Thats the whole point of what is called: self-control. So even if someone posted something like 'yeah, lets copy BMs', - which i'm unable to confirm as i wasn't in-game all night, only listened to TS - pretending that we are actually doing it simply because a someone from .5. hinted that someone from FE said something like that on alliance comms is stupid.
4th) The LAG in D7 is simply a reason of a stupid design decision by CCP. That system is on the same node with a high traffic empire system, and for some reason CCP is unable / unwilling to change the layout, despite the fact that the lag in D7 is causing severe problems most nights. So it is not because of BMs or drones or from any other weird imaginations from stupid alts, it is because of an overloaded node. Period.
Can we now get this pointless thread locked please?

allthough I think this topic should be locked since this is clearly made to flame.
I want to say that F-E has the policy to not deploy drones in combat, drones can be deployed close range when it has effect on the fighting(drones do damage or scramble etc etc).
it's complete bull that we ordered to logg in alts while 50% of our guys are trying to get out of the system to get the ships working again...
as for people saying we are exploiting the lagg that's complete bull aswell, if we wanted we could have been snipping the gate when 5 jumped in and by so created even more lagg and shoot a part of the 5 while lagging out.
to the statement that we defend our space, do you?
everytime we go to h-pa you on't even try to counter us.
That's just only 1 system that you can't even defend and you tell us we can't defend our space?
If the stuff wrote by Where's teh'beef is true then a petition should be filled, against that player. I know for sure no F-E leader would order something like that.

Looking at the post and the compassion in the alts words i don't belive it's a [5] alt nor would F-E state they did use this tactis,

i suggest u both rethink and sort it out on the field

I was with my main heading towards the battle in WH and I got stuck on the jump from h-w towards d7zac, I had to log my alt to try to get in some sort of action. At no time did anyone do what you claim, and I even checked the logs to make sure, of all F-E alliance ingame channels. I was also on TS most of this time a nobody did what you claimed to have happened.
LAG was lousy to all sides.
Stop making stuff up, makes you look desperate.

I think we stated that the lag was what allowed the NBSI/PA/F-E fleet some early kills that make the ratio look more favorable. You just where just a victim of it as many of us where. That does show that we prevailed under more strenuos circumstances.

Again. I don't get the logic that somehow lag only works in our favor. Why would we want lag? And if we were doing this why were no kills posted with bookmarks in the cargos? It just doesnt make sense. Also I can tell this was not an FE alt because the 'chaos situation' he described on ts/alliance chat did not exist. Everyone was pretty happy with the results of the fighting today. All in all, the story doesnt make sense. Its just a misrible attempt to destroy FE morale. |

The main post is a simple lie.
1st My fleet had NO order to deploy drones. A few were out, but not much.
2nd The F-E NBSI fleet had 27 battleship during the fight while .5 had 40+. We had numerous supportcraft at the gate, but our total numberat the fight was around 60. Wich is quite similar to .5's fleet. F-E was outnumbered in therm of battleships.
3rd Yes we refused to fight you in D7. Why ? Because I'm not stupid to try to stop a force with twice the number of BSs my gang have in a lagfats that even JITA never saw. The Node crashed 3 times that night.
4th The .5 killed 2 unarmed small POS... good work .5 that 50 million loss 2 us. (tbh I'm more worryed about the 10 BS we lost)
5th copy bms to create lag... thats low, and bannable. We never did it.
Thats all. But I realy want to know whos alt is this.
PS.: BoB you were the bigest haters of alt troll post. What happened ? Some of you even have this in hsi signature: "POST WITH YOUR MAIN!"

If it was the case then that is extremely low and should be banned, as, when copying bookmarks lags people in a total different place your ruining the game for more than just your enemies you idiots....and frustrating the hell outta CCP I'm sure, they are trying to FIX this problem, so dont exploit it to get some sorta advantage...
Get some balls and fight for the space you "Claim" to own, or get the hell outta 0.0 space...

Yep our Raxes had drons.. OMG the RAX main weapon was the 8 heavy drone... what did you expected ? Even we don't have enough ballst to fight with raxes without drones...
We fighted for our space. There were a fleet battle, where .5 outnumbered us in term of BSs. Stop pretending there were no fight at all.
Stop cheerleading (*spell) for a .5 alt post plz...

Out all the posts I've ever read in an MMO, this is the most rediculous post.
1. Out of the "hey, lets lag The Five out" statement, it was probably a joke. In able to see that is was a real command or idea, you would need an entire transcript to prove it. Plus anything said and final would be via VOIP, not chat in military.
The Five also has been known to mass login on some attempts as well. Mainly to gank some unsuspecting traveler without actually jumping through the gate. CCP does not call this an exploit, but I sure as hell do.
2. Just because you shot a POS or two down doesn't mean you've accomplished much. You picked the weakest POS that was OFFLINE.
3. There is no reason why any of us F-E would even think of posting on a public forum on how we were appaled by our own actions. It would first be posted in the Alliance forums. Theres no way in hell this is an F-E/NBSI/PA/etc member.
4. You wanted a real fight for the longest time, you got one. Please don't make immature complaints about us lagging the server.
My 2 cents before this post is locked.

It was simply inpossble to fight in D7.

Yes, when we jump forthe first time in to d7- situation wasnt that bad regarding lag. Offcourse, puting module on took some time but we got use to it allready.
It all started when atack on POS started...and from that time is when all this "copying + alt loging" started (I put that in brackets cause it is mentioned in this thread but yet there are no evidance).
And after few pages you post that you move to WH cause of the lag so you could fight .
Why that stuck lag started just after we started atacking POS?
Number on local wasnt change that much when we jump in and went on to POS. We were there for some time before we came to POS you know

Our spirit on Teamspeak and in our gang chat was very good. We were very organised.
These kinda alt-posts are the lowest of the lowest. I sincerely loathe it. It does not reflect what happened, it is only there to flame.
The LAG affected both parties just as much. We could not do anything in D7 and we hated it as much as you did. We got stuck for a long time and had to relog to get our ships moving again.
We then did a start warp to a gate, when the enemy was not even in system and already we got stuck, we could not align etc etc. We decided that in the D7 lagfest it was impossible to fight.

That's actually a good point. Why did the lag start when the POS was attacked? Everything you interact with in a MMO needs some bandwidth. The POS itself (can't remember which one you attacked) is like a fleet, with many different units. Even if you weren't attacked by the POS due to it being offline, it still would generate a large amount of need for bandwidth due to the info being transmitted to every user.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the POS notify the corp/alliance on it's status? Especially if it's being attacked? I know for a fact the POS sends emails when it's low on fuel. perhaps it send mails when it was being attacked therefore creating more lag.

The lag started when my buys (HUN) jumped into D7 coming from IMK to help out.
You guys just started shooting the POS when we arrived. We jumped in, but the node was not able to handle tha 20 more ppl. We got stucked at the gate. This was the first time when the node crashed.
This is why it started to lag that much. The (copy+alt log) thing is a bull****, and everyone who have a bi of common sense know this.
