So talking about pronunciation.
Deimos
Is it "Dee-eye-mos" ??? Or is it "Dee-mos" ???
Personally I say it the first way.

it's: DAY-MOS or Dei-mos.
very irritating when people dont know how to pronounce stuff(or is it me?)
like people say: KestrAl, Carcal, Try-stan(like tri-pod) and those silly DJs shoutcasting the alliance-pvp-finals saying deemos or sum.
I love x-mas :D |

I always thought of our language as a beautiful girl, and French as the creepy man in the shadows who r*ped her.

I think Tristan is more based on the "Tristan et Iseut" story - therefore I doubt it's Tray-stan.

I use a deimos so usually I said either Deimos or if it's not a deimos I say HAC. Though I've become familiar with the Zealot and Sac. Also I say cerb or cerberus for that one because it really is important to distinguish between the cerb and other HACs. You're dealing with a different animal there.
Is that dee-moss or day-moss?

Quote: Deimos ('daimos/ or /'di:mos/; Greek Δείμος: "Dread"), is the smaller and outermost of MarsĘ two moons, named after Deimos from Greek Mythology.
In Greek mythology, Deimos ("dread") was the personification of dread. He was the son of Ares and Aphrodite. He, his brother Phobos, and the goddess Enyo accompanied Ares into battle.
