I hear you, when you get involved in a relationship, you add to the amplitude of the emotional ups & downs of your life by stacking her's on top of yours (That's IF you are caring & truley devcoted to the other person). You take on her joy and her pain and assimilate it with your own. My GF has a lot of stress in her life, and it affects me daily.
