If so then i am giving MYSELF too hard a review.
The times i countered loan requests with questions and factuall links are countless.It did not help one bit because in the end the new guys would still fall for the same **** while the ''older crowd'' would still stand behind those who ''had respect'' blindly.
I have been one of the biggest if not THE biggest investor in unsecured loans over the last years on MD , and that's accounting that i have not been loaning out isk for some while besides a handfull of reqeusts.
It's like warning people for goonscams and/or jitascams.At a certain point you fail to see why you are even bothering playing big brother for the other guy who in the end instead of thanking you only points at you for ''being a troll'' .
If anyone wants to do this then by all means but speaking for myself i'll quote one of my favourite movie lines : '' i'm too old for this ****''.

Because as i edited above in my post , the problem with the community was that a few in that community abused it for own gains.Again BB , something you also where a part of.
So if you look at it purely from an investors perspective the end result wich we have now is 'better' then how it used to be.Wich does not mean that i enjoy it more because i allways loved the gamble of uncollateralised loans.But because it was a gamble in a game , not because it was the best from an investors point of view.

And I believe you are being a bit hard on yourself and the others (including me) that put a lot of work into making MD better in the past.
As stated above better did not mean better from a pure investors perspective.It was better for the social interacting in the game though , that i can agree upon.It was a fun way of playing a game of monopoly.

I'm vaguely considering starting an uncollateralised character trading IPO. I have some reputation, particularly to those who know **** about character trading, skill and a long history of successfully doing it. It'd certainly be an interesting IPO. But I'm not sure if I want to put the effort in to actually commit myself to making more isk.
It would be interesting to see if and how much would get filled uncollateralised seeing how MD has changed over the last years.Those who did large uncollateralised like me tend to avoid it these days as there is no ''need'' any more to place yourself in that position and the new crew is so used to having collateral that even a 10 B loan looks like a huge risk to them.
I know you have a reputation but it is precisely those with reputation that killed the uncollateralised loaning in the first place .
