Can't speak for ISD, but I think that at this point it's spam.
Day in, day out, some bozo comes up with a 'new' idea that proves how his/her solution to macro use is perfect.
This is then followed by arguments about lag in Jita.
Which in turn becomes some kind of anti-carebear movement to herd all newbies into 0.0 to get wtfbbqpwn'd.
Someone then suggests using stabs to keep from getting wtfbbqpwn'd in low-sec.
This then leads to the discussion/argument about WCS being too much of an on/off switch thing and any solo PvP'er in an elite frigate should be able to scram battleships because their chosen ships can't carry enough scramblers to counter the stabs carried by the BS driver.
The WCS discussion gets ignored completely, because... it should be ignored. It's a complete joke to suggest that a BS should be scrambled by some fruit fly in a frigate at all.
Someone then talks a bit about how in WoW, they ban accounts.
In response, someone else dredges up this past summer's announced account bannings in EVE.
No one is really sure if this makes EVE's ban-hammer more amazingly powerful than WoW's ban-hammer. (Personally, I put it somewhere between Maxwell's Silver Hammer and Mjolnir.)
Then, someone remembers through his/her drug-addled haze that there's a problem with macro miners. They're not entirely certain what a macro is, and they've never mined because that's for carebear whiners... and major PvP alliances that get wtfpwn'd in 0.0, but dammit they know there's a problem with macros. After all, they just read about it that day on the forums...
So, to fix that problem, s/he starts a new thread about it.
LOL Ayla! That's soooo right on.
Let me add my own spam:
Macro mining? Who cares? Empire? What's that?
Nothing to see here folks. Move along now. Go do some EVE.
And I agree: After 30 (or whatever) days, move them out of a noob corp to something else. EVE goes on.
Or as Flesh Gordon said: "Frankly, Harlot, I don't give a rip."
