Ok - the macrodiscusson gets a sticky! And why? Because a lot of players, including me, are anoyed of the macromining pest.
So lets start to think logical: whatever CCP codes to finish macrominers, to nearly every change a macro-coder can adapt. Popupwindows, hunting them on Ebay or too few GMs askinf them in local to answer - these things wont fix the problem. The big weakness of macrominers is: their ship has no human commander. A macro can be adapted to any automated routine like questions with codes to type in and all these solutions would also anoy normal miners, including all the n00bs that don¦t have a clue about all.
The solution MUST BE effective against macrousers. I see only one way which i posted in my topic:
Challange option - comparable to a "small wardeclaration". This means a player in a playercorp is allowed to challange any other player. Once the challange is spoken out a timer of 10 minutes appears. If the challange targets warps of the belt the challange is over - the person didnt accept the challange. This means a miner that is not interested in fighting simply warps of the belt and comes back to go on mining. A macrominer will have a big problem: another pilot could simply challange his whole macrofleet. The macroguy has to move all his ships. If he isnt watching his macrofleet he risks to loose all his ships.
Now people see "griefing options" in this feature. The worst case: a crazy guy warps into a Kisogo belt, challanges everyone there and is amused by the panic-warping miners. True - it is anoying. But be realistic: how long do you think such a guy will survive in this belt??? If he randomly challanges people, sooner or later ( i think sooner) someone will challange this crazy person and if he doesnt warp off within 10 minutes...KABOOM. A second reason why i think it will not be used for grief tactics is: only playercorp-members schould be allowed to challange, no characters in n00bcorps. Such a challange would be a "small wardeclaration", a political incident.
From my view the possible grief potential is nearly zero, while the effectivity to end macromining is extreme high. The best chance so long to finish macromining, no doubt.

Macrominers will adapt to most things that are proposed here. There is only one thing they¦ll never be able to adapt to: OPTIONS TO KILL ¦EM

Did i already say that there is only 1 solution to get macrominers out of the game: KILL EM!
We need kill-options, challanges 1 on 1!

We now discussed long enough...can we now simply kill macrominers??? I still think the challange option solves the problem.
