Basically the player base is fed up with having all the omber and kernite roids removed from within mid-high sec by these vultures - all we hear in local now is omg = 50 characters with jkljljk next to their name - and omg i cant find any omber and kernite roids
We have taken to calling these ISK farmers - semi afk bots -= macros whatever the heck they are called cows when they come into local its a matter of scrambling the mining barges to beat em to the kernite and omber because after a couple of hours everything has been chewed up and the rest left.
CCP if youre not going to make a serious attempt to get em out - or allow us contract killing on NPC corp members or implment a NPC corp tax of 80% on all transactions on any cahracters that are in those corps and more than 45 days ingame then just for the sake of peace and quite totally legalise all macro bots - ISK farmers and the like and simply allow RL cash sales for ISK or whatever via the eve site. (im 100% against this) but with all these threads from so many ppl u can see the player base is just about fed up with nothing appearing to be done.
Balls over in youre court guys fix it or players will leave - me i dont mine if i do its low sec where the roids are a plenty still. Now ill stick to conversations that dont involve any tlak of this subject. But it needs looking at - block all chinesse IPs perhaps drop into the chinesse channel and u see youre favourite macromiens posting stuff like

and this nonsense just goes on is this part of the macro code perhaps post something in a channel every so often and make it look like they are active players ?
We know there are a lot of macroers not just restricted to poorer countries the above is just an example of where a lot come from.

then ew move into a gurilllea war - the idea of 2mil a day for a indiviudal bountry contract on any NPC character is a far better idea ie paying off CONCORD so for a limited period u can attack an NPC corp player (this would not extend to player corps though)

how about if they are identified they are placed in a roid belt deep in 0.0 :) when they log back in bang no more scout drones to protect em

CCP are always woffling on about the importance of plyaer corps for real players - i think as long as real players are playing then all players should be pushed into a player corp with very severe disadvantages of being in a NPC corp after 30-60 days
Thats the logical thing what they will come up with will no doubt fail to do any good.

i think we need to hear from some macro miners on this (those running the accounts) whats youre take on all of this - is it good we are looking at removing u - should we allow u to sell ISK etc to make u some money (ie going down the WOW path) - is it really destorying the game as much as everyone else is complaining about - should we destory this game so everyone can make some money off it - making skills based on combat not time basis
(please note some sarcasim) but if we get a ISK farmer response it could be interesting

well ok someone using a part macro - part say 20 minute supervision. Either way i think a comment from them if they are reading this thread would be good feedback. Im against macroing but seeing it if it was uflly implemented in game

ok then if CCP are trying to appeas the macros by leaving them in place - political reasons perhaps ? remember they are going into china and if they boot to many chinesse macro'ers it could become a political issue - so keeping it low key. Now macro'ers are a global problem but get on the chinesse channel and guess what most of youre well known macro names are there to be seen ?
Is it financial ? delete some of htem revenue falls so we take petitions and then ignore them give a standard we are looking into it = 6 months later and 50 petitions later oh they are still there well im not petitioning anymore im just going to take their ore
It has become a standoff ingame

CCP will not block these chinesse IPs for one reason politcal so they can get their game into china - this may also explain the general ignorance or low key nature of dealing with the macro miner - gold farming that is going on from that country.
So we may as well fully legalise macro scripts within the game (note sarcasim folks severe sarcasim) im totally against it but if it makes the fools upstairs happy so be it - big money in ISK selling i guess - heh.
So we have a vast army of mining apocs in empire run by 28 day characters - who have been petitioned to death and still sit there mining away so we either a) steal b)simply take advantage of the stuff up mineral prices and have more PVP for a lower cost - will the mineral costs eventually be pushed below insurance costs ? as the macros attempt to shift higher amounts of minerals - this will be interesting buy BPC - buy minerals way below insurance cost make ship go blow ship up get extra insurance and bamo u have an exploit
CCP by ignoring macro miners this is where youre headed - knock knock anyone home i will file off another petition every 36 hours about my favourite spawn of MMs ruining the game only ot be todl we are looking into it and then after 6 months of doing this a) give up petitioning and instead of mining just move to ore theif or b) leave the game but i will trash all my stuff so none of u vultures hehe can have it.

CCP its time to get serious about this issue its becoming more widespread and youre giving ust he standard looking into it petition response - this isnt going to make it go away bury youre head in the sand and the macroers keep building a lot of empire mining belts are now worthless and they macro operators are becoming more brazen - whats being done about it as for proof to the player base youre coming down on it the answer is squat multi petitioned macro gangs are still there 3 months later
This might be THE issue that starts to reduce youre player base - are the paying accounts of 1000 macro miner accoutns more important than the other 79000 - if something isnt done now u may as well legalise Ebaying and be done with it.

i doubt a mass resignation of player accounts will work however - i prefer to go the route of encouraging more players to petition them id advice from one player being say me petitioning each individual Macroer no more than once every 48 hours ..... but as a petition that remains unaddressed i could travel around and gather a list of those in each system do a petition wait for it to close and then do another one on the next batch i come across and also encourage everyone else in local affected by each group to do the same - that is under exploit a valid use i think of the ingame petitions to petition each individual case of macro exploitation within the game world - basically the idea is to build pressure on CCP within the petitioning rules to get them to be more serious about macro reporting follow up with some
ACTION ACTION ACTION WHICH INVOLVES ACTIVE REMOVAL OF ALL MACROS not just some shafted non action which just buidls more frustration within the playerbase

so when we petition and its being looked into does this just get left in the bin
Or thanks to CCP is it easier for someone furstrated to grab one of these macro bots from the certain places i hear they exist and just setup 3 or 4 accounts and just let the bots run amok :? is this waht CCP wants because this is the result of inaction mining is now unprofitable and stuffed on the flip side there are more ppl trying their hand at PVP and other combat areas (this is real players playing for the social emement)
