Planescape: Torment! There ain't an RPG like it. Never will be. Period. But I would like to see it in updated graphics.

QFT. They have never made a decent sequel. Imho, a few key changes would make Carmageddon great again:
- rob elements from Gran Turismo (loads of cars, real modification options. I don't want to see 3 crappy bars denoting defense, offense and speed. I want to be able to attach big spiky things, rams, and big massive nitrous canisters to my car. Flamethrowers would also be acceptatble. ^_^
- put more of an emphasis on racing, get rid of earning money in-race, and the time limit (because it's way too much like a platformer)
- do away with the moronic physics. Having your front bumper, tailgate, and spoiler fall off just because you hit a shrub at 2mph is silly. It also weakens the effect of the 'real' crashes.
- make the game structure a leauge, tournament, a race across America like the film which inspired the game, ANYTHING relevant to racing. The person who came up with levels and platformer objectives for TDR2000 should have been shot.
- get rid of repairing mid race to create some suspense . Apart from designated areas or something. Keep power ups though, 'cos as you said, Granite Car is t3h pwn. =) -------------------------------------------------- Loyalty, Integrity, Honour. |

ah, that's pure nostalgia. Ever go back and play Doom? Really linear, not as scary or as immersive as it was the first time round - and because we've been spoiled since, probably never will again. Though if you're looking for a modern update of Doom that isn't Doom, maybe Serious Sam is what you're after? ;) -------------------------------------------------- Loyalty, Integrity, Honour. |

Sword of Fargoal, that would be so sweet, instanced dungeons galore and much gold, then unfortunatelly the lvl60 ninja stabbing you dead and looting it all, why does this sound familiar?
Remind me about The Maze.

What I miss about Doom I is the feeling of the size of the place. Remember those huge open spaces? Doom III was the exact oposite, all about claustraphobia, and the same can be said of sooo many modern FPS's

Transport Tycoon was the best business sim I've played. Twas a pain having to manually renew the tracks when monorails and magleves were invented tho. If they ever do a retake on that I'd realy like an option to automatically renew the lines. Nostalgia 4tw!
