I hope they haven't sorted it. I was thinking of convincing suspected ISK farmers to replace their Hammerheads with Wasps.

Wasp drones and their use in combat reported by: GM Xhagen | 2006.01.05 20:37:29
It has been known for some days that Wasp drones (both tech I and tech II variants) have abnormal tracking capabilities. Hence it is now considered an exploit to use them in combat and all players caught using them in combat from now on, will receive an official warning. + read more"
This was on the News section mate...

Guys, Server issues after DT are notorious. And yes, I know we shouldn't have to accommodate for this problem ourselves but rather than put ourselves into the position where we can be inconvenienced, simply ensure that your skill training doesn't finish practically bang on the dot after DT.
I'm sure you have a few others to train. Gawd knows I do, lol
Then you will never be annoyed again.

Nobody has said otherwise have they? I think you may be simply reading into others believing that this server issue is down to the wasp patching.
Afaik, it isn't, yet we all know what rumours can do...

I'm not sure why they don't just make DT 1hr 30mins, or 2 hours. They don't ever seem to be on time nowadays, so why tell us '1 Hour' when it will undoubtedly take longer?

An official DT of 1.5 hours would suck. DT starts at 8:30 pm here in Aussieland (7:30 on east cost), which cuts right in the middle of prime time. Official extended DT would really really suck.

so this is a usual behaviour in online games? if so then i am glad that eve is my first game of this kind, because i would have died on a heart attack years ago if all online games have this behaviour.
would have saved me some money anyway.

morpg downtimes are a norm for all games in the genre and will always be that way, think of them as great online gaming experiments with yourself a lowly subject
its easier to handle the downtimes that way :)
