I have got an stolen idea... Simply put a extended downtime msg after client loadup and you will save alot of forum space ;)

by "you" i ment all of CCP, they used to be very fast in talkin to there player base, then they got big now they hide behind the mods and other lame ass excuses.

Historically, when CCP have experienced problems like this, they have always come out after the fact and told you what the problem was so you will get an explination at some point. But when you are given it hardly makes a difference to the current situation does it?
So... does everyone feel sufficiently enlightened now? Has anyone had a devine revelation that didn't have before? Or have you all been told something that you already knew to begin with, thus making all the whines about the 'lack of information' pretty pointless?
Not saying your post is unwelcome or unappreciated either Eris so that is not directed at you.
I just get annoyed at people asking for the obvious.

I agree that unexpected downtimes suck, but yall REALLY need a dose of MMOG company norms reality, CCP is the exception to levels of communication in this field. Their communication levels are one of the REASONS I play this game, to see what the rest of the world goes through play any EA or SOE owned entity. where yer treated like a mushroom (kept in the dark and occasionally fed manure ) or when they DO bother to post you get something along the lines of stfu itll be done when its done.
CCP on the other hand tends to tell ya EXACTLY why there down and WHEN theyll be back up. and situations like this are the exception, not the rule.
So suck it up, go grab a coffee or refreshing adult beverage, and hang in there ya fellow addicts lol

AH FFS, they're a bit late telling you why DT is extended for some reason. Which has happened before for various reasons. And idiots start claming this is new and it's the beginnning of the end. They're working on it. They always do. And it'll get fixed. And please stop acting like your lives depend on EVE being up. It's annoying ofcourse, but it's a MMOG, it HAPPENS.
