In the recent months there have been a lot of finger pointing and blaming for the incident at Colelie from various groups, both involved and not involved. What all sides have agreed upon was the senseless loss of human life that day, yet nothing seems to have been mentioned of the families of those lost.
After much thought and consideration, the Order of the Ebon Rose will be donating 30m ISK to the establishing and running of three state-of-the-art orphanages and shelters within the Minmatar Republic. Primarily, these centers will take in orphans and single parent families that are struggling in lieu of lost ones in the events at Colelie. Once those have been seen to, the centers will be open to others in need.
On top of the initial investment, the Order pledges an annual donation of 3m ISK (1m to each center) to insure supplies, staffing, and other needs can be met in order to serve those in need.
Staffing and the daily operations of said centers will be in the hands of the Republic, though the Order will maintain oversight of the operation. The Order will also be providing transportation, free of charge, to any of the families or children of those lost at Colelie to these centers should it be required.
The initial investment will be paid in full, by myself and the annual donations will be handled by the Order itself.
If you have any questions or concerns, you are free to contact me. Ser Steffanie Saissore, Knight Commander (Errant), Order of the Ebon Rose

I am really, really happy to see other capsuleers caring about the welfare of children.
Tomorrowland Orphanage would like to contribute in our own small way. We are prepared to accept two hundred new children into our care. Besides food, a home, love and comfort, we will give each of them an education, new and individually customized parents and all the upgrades they need to achieve their dreams.
We give the Order of the Ebon Rose our best hopes and wishes. May you bring happiness. |

The Order is touched by the offer put forward on behalf of the Tomorrowland Orphanage and I am glad to see that there are others who care for the welfare of the children. That you would offer to take in so many needy children and provide them with all that you indicate is quite touching.
That stated, the Order's purpose here is to not just aid these unfortunate victims, but also to provide the means for the Minmatar to help strengthen and provide a deeper sense of community for their less fortunate kinsmen. The funds being donated will ensure that these facilities will be able to not only handle the numbers, but easily provide the staff with the tools necessary to help educate and heal these children and bring them up with a stronger sense of the extended family that I have heard from many other Minmatar that I have had the pleasure of knowing.
Again, the Order is glad for the offer of assistance, and unfortunately must decline it at this time.
Should the occasion come, the Order does look forward to possible future collaboration with the Tomorrowland Orphanage.

Why, with the donations of the Order and of Ishuk-Raata, I do believe that these children are fast on their way to living in a house built of megacyte!
Although I wouldn't recommend that with what, the explosive traits and all.
While the Institute of Social Development does not see the need for further investment, be assured that we are committed to the cause of assisting the victims of the recent unpleasantness. While some lives have already been needlessly lost, it is our hope that through this initiative, no more will come to harm by simple social proximity to the incident.
We offer our full services as a lobbying organisation to the Order and this program, and will be happy to intercede on its behalf with the Matari regime should it provide any trouble or impose undue bureaucratic regimes upon what is ultimately a good thing for all those involved. |

Do you posses any way of letting us make sure our donations are being spent appropriately? I'm all for helping the children but and unfortunate downside of today's society is that many "charitable" organizations are staging massive scams under the guise of helping others.
Not that this is a personal jab at you or those that need help, it's just a precaution. Watch Fred Fred Frederation and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it! |

While I've served on the board of Tomorrowland Orphanage as governess, none.
Please, everybody, lets leave the children out of our disputes. Ms Saissore and Ms Amatucci are both taking positive measures to help children left alone as a result of conflicts that we all chose for them.
I'd ask that if you aren't of a mind to offer your help, please don't detract from the work they're trying to do. |

Miss Tenebrae, my problem on this particular matter is that i genuinly want to help by sending a donation and some materials, but i do not want to indirectly be helping the recruitment of infants and orfans to Sansha supporters nor do i want to be later informed that the funds didn't went to their intended destination.
Anyways this is not an accusation or the atempt of derailing good intentions but an atempt to have some sort of reassurement.
Anyways my offer is composed of 10mil ISK plus vaccines for the Children.

On behalf of the Order, I wish to thank all of you for coming forward to offer assistance on this project.
Some have raised an issue about transparency and accountability for where and how the funds are being used. As the project gets under way, I will provide an overview of where and how the current funds are being used and allocated. With the very large donation already made, we will be looking at establishing a trust fund and possible scholarship programs for children to make use of; the details of which will have to be worked out.
To those who have offered assistance and/or donations, I will be in contact with you to discuss the details and make arrangements.
Thank you and may Fate and Fortune smile upon you all. Ser Steffanie Saissore, Knight Commander (Errant), Order of the Ebon Rose

When it is the well being of those children in question should it not be raised up in a topic, no? Ms. Saissore would do well to choose her bedfellows with more care if she truly feels for her orphans.
I'm sure you'll also understand if I do not simply take the word of a Nation collaborator at face value of what happens in a Nation affiliate institution, or maybe just do not see what goes on behind close doors - or simply refuse to see.
Do not take me wrong I fully support this little initiative of hers. Capsuleers playing humanitarians is something that thoroughly amuses me, take lives on one hand and then care for the orphans you've just created with the other.Only so that in the coming decades you or others like you can repeat the same cycle over and over again.
I also find it amusing that she'd rather cater to the aggressors than take care of the real victims families. Vincent Pryce Archangel of Asakai |
