I was waiting for today patch and ... YOU DIDNT FIX THOSE DRONES!!!
PPL send bugs, write what is wrong with them, but looks like you dont want to fix them.
I spend lots of time skilling them, and Now I regret.
Heavy have crappy tracking, cant hit not moving frigate. Not to mention that they like to aproch target with orbiting speed.
I do a lot of missions, now I have problem with frigs even biger then before that crapy RMR patch.
Im doing missions, I though Vindicator would be nice, but you know what? I have to low range or to crappy tracking to kill all of them. Why didnt I train for raven, like all of you, someone said that game is ballanced. No its not, and will never be.
Every Patch drones are getting more and more bugged.
All changes will make interceptors king of PVP. Killing machine. When I see that 1 interceptor can kill big Battleship well, thats not even funny, its stupid.
So CCP THANK YOU FOR THAT SWEET RMR.
What next will you do to make that game worse?
What you did so far:
1. Uber nerf drones in numbers(Gallente (drone rase) BS cant take more than 5 heavy (where medium??))
2. Even bigger nerf drones (size, tracking)
3. Bugged drones (every patch gets bigger)
4. R&D sucks (cant cancel BPO reaserch)
5. Plenty more....

Wolverine is quite right...
Since Cold War deployment there was nothing developers did about drone buggs :/ More - buggs becamed even more annoying.
I use small drones. Most annoying thing is when scooping to drone bay. Issuing "return and orbit" command makes drones not returning and orbitting but flying after a ship at the distance not allowing me to scoop them into bay. Everyone knows how big problem is that when doing hard missions. Specially when flying a small ship relying on its speed to avoid hitts - when u have to turn back to get drones :/
If next patches will make eve even more unplayable plz stop making them for a while and try resolving existing problems. Before Cold War it was very nice to play - everything worked smoothly (mostly :D). I know there is a load of new players and hardware has its limitations and... halo - fix it first then go on with plot and new ships :/
Plz plz i love eve but u made this game a bit unplayable.
And im not whinning (for those @$%@&% dumb@#$% that say that in every topic and think theyre better or somtin) - i waited long - i thought CCP will resolve it. But this resolving takes so much time (and even more buggs come in) that sometimes i loose hope :( Im sorry to say that :(

I must say that the good thing about nerfing the drones is that now when you can have half of what you were used to, there is less chance for them to get stuck in pairs and wonder off at 50m/s when you need them the most. That's a precious one.

That range is 1800meters.
GOD FORBID YOU WERE TO STOP YOUR SHIP AND WAIT FOR THE DRONES TO GET WITHIN SCOOPING RANGE, OR EVEN WORSE TURN YOUR SHIP AROUND AND APPROACH THE DRONES!!

I cannot believe there is so many people responding to this post saying how we should not complain about the drones ..obviously yuo are the few who did not spend many months working drone skills just to have the drones become useless..Although CCP will love people like you because you are the ones that take these nerfs and just say oh well and continue to pay you 15 bucks a month. I loved this game and still love the concept but when they go and change things you have worked very hard for it takes all the fun out. Todays wonderful patch has now caused more lag than i ever had (yay) ..takes 5 minutes to get in and out of stations and 2 or 3 minutes to jump at gates ..it just keeps gettiong better and better ..but you go ahead and pay your 15 bucks, i will just have to find some thing else unfortunately ..i really liked the game. The worst part is that CCP will not acknowledge any of our complaints..at least let us know you heard us.

I cant believe most reactions here either?? I thought we were a great community here and everyone is nice to eachother?? (according to the article interview in E-ON 2 ;))
Drones are definetly bugged! I myself had 3 times already this week that my own medium drones (hamerheads) sudddenly start attacking me when they destroyed the target?? Somehow they don't come out of combat mode and return to orbit and start attacking you?? Only way to solve this problem is to scoop them into drone bay and then release them back in space again to continue!!

After Patch Sentry Drones...
Pls help my memory, but did they reduce the Optimal Range Attributes for Sentry Drones with this Patch? Was the one thing i realy enjoyed in RMR.

The fact... drones are better than they have ever been.
The fact... many buggs are in the game pre-rmr and post-rmr.
The fact... I have trained up 5 toons with excellent drone skill.
The fact... drones are a system that not as important as turret bug fixes ( like projectile alpha and DoT )
The fact... drones might not be the best system to use in complexes or deadspace missions.
The fact... drones are uber in 0.0.
The fact... drones only have a few counter measures in the game that really work.
The fact... one turret disrupter can negate 3 primary weapon systems.
The fact... 2 new drone ships were put into the game and extra large drones.
The fact... you will not be missed except by your close friends in game.
The fact... if a buggy drone system, which has been sketchy from 2003, makes you quit then good luck finding a game that ahere's to your high standard. I have played them all and there is not ONE MMO on the market without huge gaping bugs in them. I suggest a FPS like Battlefield 2.

I played this game pre rmr and while yes it had its bugs it now seems to have tripled since rmr and considering that drones are the main defense of the Gallante race and since i cant use drones because of bugs then i guess i cant play unless i learn a new race ..and i dont expect you to miss me or anyone but there are more stable games out there ..yes they have bugs too but my biggest complaint is acknoledgement at least that CCP here us ..most people dont like being ignored but obviously you are a product of customer no- service as well and you will not be missed either

totally agree with you there... for me its the constant lack of letting us know.... this tells me that the problems are a lot bigger than what they seem,
Why else would a company be so ignorant.

I find it highly annoying that drones won't auto-attack hostile rats as they shoot at me.
Maybe it's been mentioned before, but still: teh annoying.

Drones are not Gallente's offense, hybrids are. Drones are not Gallente's defense, armor tanking is. Name me one compnay that has a more stable game with less bugs and I will eat this post. Since I have long standing accounts with SoE, Cryptic, Blizzard and 2+ years running with CCP I can tell you CCP is by far the most improved, improving, and communicative set of developers out on the market. RMR has been out less than a month. City of Villians, which is content patch 6 for City of Heroes, has been out over 2. We will have three patches under our belt before CoV/CoH will have 1 to address outstanding bugs. Be greatful or quietly leave... the developers can't reply to every post that begins with a disgruntled rant.

I understand you'r defense to the game after all it is a really good game till rmr, i liked it alot but i wont pay 15 bucks to fly around and not be able to play,its just my opinion and obviosly others seem to notice the drastic effects of the drone changes. this is my last post and as far as response to the drone problem ..umm i dont think they have ever responded since prepatch to the problems or to the new problems since patch and not to mention they didnt even give out proper patch notes till we all complained during this last patch.i am glad you still love the game and i would too and maybee later if they fix what i trained for ill be back other than that i will go back to my other game full time.Good luck and Enjoy!

Forget about your romantic past in eve, when there was a handfull of players and 0.0 was deserted. Once something becomes profitable there is no turning back the the poetry. It's uphill or bust. Advertising people to leave is just stupid.
