the more of CCP's current Devs and Managerial staff that moves on or gets dumped the better, this game is sick-broken and needs a serious influx of new and more qualified talent. |

Not happy with the turn that EVE is taking with the late management changes? High positions given to the outsiders while maybe they wanted them?
Tinfoil hat ON. Begin the speculations.
Pretty normal lately with small developers. EA gets in, everyone else gets out.
Just look at Westwood, Bioware, Maxis and probably loads more. |

Except when EA gets in, the entire studio fail-cascades and the game turns to ****. The players then leave and the games end up struggling for attention. |

For whatever reason that CCP does decide to sell or end this game. I want 3+ years of my sub money back.
Like many of you, I have put to much time and effort and dedication into EVE Online to have it end on me.
Just stop making those crazy pointless things like DUST 514 and pool your money and resources into EVE Online. The game people actually want to play. |

A. By CCP for Termination of the Game
CCP does not guarantee that it will continue to offer access to the System or support the Game. CCP may, in its sole discretion, cease to provide any or all of the services offered in connection with EVE (including access to the System and any or all features or components of the Game), terminate the EULA, close all Accounts and cancel all of the rights granted to you under the EULA. CCP may communicate such termination to you upon 30 daysGÇÖ notice in any of the following manners: (i) when you log into your Account; (ii) in a notice on CCP's website; (iii) via electronic mail; or (iv) in another manner that CCP deems suitable to inform you of the termination. If CCP terminates the EULA pursuant to this section, you will not receive a refund of any fees. |

Urgh seriously?
Ok look, it's clear english is not your first language and reading what I said without an understanding of tone and figure of speech is clearly your problem here.
p.s. Why do you have the EULA rules of a game handy like that for quick quotations? |

In the Santa Monica area it's even worse when you're looking at the all the other interchanges (the 101 comes to mind).
I remember not so fondly driving from Irvine up just passed Dodger Stadium and dealing with quite a few crunch spots (El Toro Y, Orange Crush, etc).
But living in Torrance (When I did) wasn't so bad since you had alternate routes.
San Jose and S.F/Sac area is just as terrible =( This post has been signed by Murk Paradox and no other accounts, alternate or otherwise. Anything tech works like that yes.
I did the same thing from Verant Interactive in Irvine/San Diego quite a few years back then moved over to Excite.com(In Santa Cruz) just based on skillsets I learned from one company.

EVE is dying... and for my 2 cents of "tinfoilhat" speculation... I'm thinking not everyone is happy with the way the "new management" wants to take EVE forward. I could speculate further that perhaps certain folks might have been given a choice about their role in how things will move forward.
But I'm just speculating, as gamers often do.
And as gamers often do, if I DON"T LIKE WHAT I SEE in the future -- then I have a choice and there's plenty of other "choice" out there these days.
Nothing lasts forever, and the astute amongst you will by now have seen various other issues that, seemingly unrelated, are possibly just the "tip of the iceberg" if you care to speculate, as I do.

One high profile CCP leaving is just a normal thing in the industry. Two leaving in close proximity to each other is just co-incidence, or good poaching by Riot.
Now, if we get a 3rd leaving very soon, then we may have a trend on our hands, and some fun speculation can begin.

So late to this party, but whatever.
As a programmer myself its pretty normal to move on at some point. Sooner or later the same project/code base/game is simply not going be a stimulating job. People move from jobs all the time.
The moving looks even rather normal at least IIRC the timing of hiring before others leaving, while the reins are passed on (not necessarily to the new team members). |
