2 things I'd like to see... A) The number of currently entered contestants... B) Both pilots should meet at a planet and jet a piece of trit.. and steel from eachother.. then contiune

You dodged my question. As it is now, you have an unfair system and are leaving out players who want to compete.

No for players without low security statis they can enter Y-MPWL thorugh a 0.6 system for those with a low sec statis they can enter through a 0.0 system they are the two systems that conect to Y-MPL players of low sec statis will have to wait in the neighbouring 0.0 very easy mate.
Johnathan - there seems to be a communication problem here. Is it that you cannot read my inquiry, or do you simply refuse to? In case you never saw it, I will repost the it here. This is the THIRD time I have asked. This tournament has great customer service

ok Tombozo, here it is for the last time.
The reason that we are not basing the catagories on Skill Points is as follows
1, I dont want 50+ pilots having to send me screen shots which i have to carefully examine to make sure none have been put through photoshop or any other editors to change the numbers.
2, Also to make sure that the screen shots are recent I would have to tell each charactor to put something specific in their screen shot for instance a open tab detailing a merlin, this shows me that the screen shot has been taken now and not prior to the event.
3, I will say that Skill Points would be great however people can cheat very easily this way and I don't wan't that. I'm sorry for your situation however I can't make this perfect for everyone, I hope you understand I'm doing this for the majority of people.

ATTENTION ALL!
THERE HAS BEEN A RULE CHANGE!!
- NO faction modules allowed
Faction ships are still allowed however.
This change is due to everwhelming public response and thus the change has been made. Any player who wishes to cancel their entry because of this may eve-mail me and recieve a full refund of their isk! Also if more low sec players don't enter the tournament it shall be moved to a 0.5 system allowing greater protection. Currently only 1 low sec player has entered if 4 more aren't recieved within 48 hours it shall be changed. I shall notify this change on this thread. With the move to a 0.5 system flagging will be used.
Also for those asking there are 23 players entered, I need 50 to run the tournament effectively.
Hope these changes help out the majority of players. Thank you everyone for your input it is greatly appreciated.

Again if you wish to pull out due to this you may ask for a full refund!!! I'm sorry for the changes. I did run a thread asking people to exprees their views on matters such as these however EW was wanted, now there is a change so as this tournament is based around public opinion there is now no EW allowed.
For those wanting to know the participants there is 29 however if you don't enter because of numbers then the numbers will never go up! remember once the tournament applications close then I shall detail the amount of participants in each catagory! You are still elligable to pull out at this stage and recieve a full refund of your isk!!!
So apply, TELL YOUR FRIENDS!!!!
Don't wait for others you may pull out up to 24hours after the tournament applications close, you will attract more participants if you enter yourselves and help spread the word.
Also if someone could detail how this arena could be used with flagging in the tournament if setup in a 0.5 system please post this or contct me by eve-mail or in game as no new enteries have come in by low sec players so far.

Ikvar. If your not entering this tournament then save your time and everyone elses and post somewhere else.
As for your 8 raven comment all I can say is I hired a 80+ BS merc corp to police the event If it's held in a 0.5 system that won't be neccasary as concord will do the job fine. But thanks for your concern and sarcastic comments, this thread is desigend for players to ask questions about the rules and suggest improvements. As for the ccp comment that was based on the sticky at the top of the events catagory of threads. You sound like you know it all so prove it and join and we'll see if you can back up your sarcasm with some actual PvPing otherwise don't post cause no one wants to read your crap, people just want to see rule updates and the lattest updates and announcements.

Also, the sticky about events is about events run buy the ISD Aurora team, not players.
And finally, I won't be entering seeing as your rules and prizes are rubbish and... well to be honest 1v1 frig tournaments = meh  .

I don't understand, No electronic warefare? Isn't that what makes the game dynamic. Other than that it's just blasting each other till someone pops right. No webs? no sensor jams? cmon please explain this to me.

Ok a few thing to mention guys.
1: To the person who stated that 1 Vs 1 frig tournament = meh. The reason for this is we wanted to try this tournament design with less expensive ships first also we wanted to built a good relationship with the eve public by starting small instead of saying "hey BS tournament, put your BS in the hands of us and hopefully we'll look after it" instead we are showing players that we can be trusted and that they are not just throwing their isk away on some fraud. Also the reason for the move to a 0.5 system was because we only had one entry from a player who couldnt enter a 0.5 so all the other participants will benefit from better security, it also means I dont have to pay that BS fleet which was expensive very expensive.
2, EW, I personally wanted EW really bad i believe it is a important part of the game and I think it adds depth but this tournament is designed to benefit the majority so unfortunately that means that there's no EW as most players wanted it out.
3, these modules arn't classed as EW, webberfiers, nos, enegry neuts etc. Pretty much it means no stopping ur player from locking on or delaying them from locking.

Yeah but if this is a contest of skills, then some of my time has gone into skill training EW, so technically, not being able to use it puts me at a handicap, so then it no longer stays a contest of skill. And look, the majority of people who want to enter, want EW in, and no EW is turning more people away. Listen to the people man.

I support the tourney, whatever the rules are. It'll still be a challenge no matter what... Besides Plis, it's not like there are people in the game EXCLUSIVELY trained to use frigs. I think just about everyone has some side skills that won't be used.

What is the differance between 6-1y and 1y+ when it comes to ships? :)
one states T2 frigs and the other states Open T2 frigs... imho that is the same thing, no? :)
Besides.. T2 ammo is widely spread and available for all so I don't see why that should not be allowed, but hey :)

BTW: If open includes interdictors there is no real need to enter the open T2 class unless you have one.
It should have been one class for AF, one for inty, one for bomber, one for t1 frigs, one for destroyers and one for interdictors.
