looks like a humdinger of a fight... i wasnt there as i was washing my sheeps coat, but looks tasty.
carrier loss and quite a few BS on the celes/serp side...
kinda curious to know the serpentis plan... as i imagine BOB are too. makes it all interesting
I thought the talk would have been all over the forums with that carrier involved.
edit, seems some VC were also there.. sry lads.

Sounded like a good fight, might not be much forum traffic about it because it was technically a NPC carrier, as opposed to a player owned one.

I've been patiently waiting for the Serpentis Corp to alert us about them setting us to +10 standings now that we've beaten the tar out of them. Since that seems to be the way they operate these days, I look forward to them assisting our fleet ops with their carriers on a regular basis.

was a nice fight, I didnt fire a shot because of huge lag. But nice fight.

We met with Serpentis forces 2 from NOL, we had 20 pilots within our gang, we then proceeded to NOL.
Once in NOL we dropped a Cyro and bought in a Carrier. The first engagement we were met with an equal size force at the station (27 our side), we then destroyed 4 BoB BS and a support ship (?).
The second engagement at the station saw 27 of us v's roughly the same BoB. Fighting commenced and BoB bought in a second fleet to the right of us. Decision was made to warp out.
We sat at a SS and local was filling, 117 in local and 27 in our gang. We tried for re-inforcements to no avail.
Grand Admiral Benson then gave the order that they would cause a diversion for us to leave the system. We decided as a corp to stay till the end.
We found a majority of the BoB fleet at a gate and warped in. Laggy as hell but it was bloody good fun :)
Station fights, there was no lag which was excellent but at the same time weird

You killed 2 BoB BS at the station and the serp fleet lost a vindicator. Later at the HM- gate pretty much your entire fleet got destroyed, but you were greatly outnumbered anyway.
Fighters = evil btw.

in summary, good fight, lag sucked, carrier down Serpentis have weird sense of humor.

Oh and props to whoever brought the Nightmare out to play.
Great to see one out on the field of battle where it belongs - had a great tank too.
Pity Admiral Benson was calling our targets if we could have took that BS it would have been a less one-sided result!

The Giggling indicated the serpentis admiral took a deetour to serpentis "chemical factory" before hopping into pod... also explanes poor accuracy of the Vindicators 425mms

Being a carrier belonged to the event team, I wouldnt really count it as the first carrier down. If we did that, then we might aswell count the ones on Sisi aswell.
