From the outside looking in...
You know, generally the reason most corps have mining ops is because they need ore, not isk. If it were an "isk raising exercise" then people should probably be allowed to do it in the most efficient way they can (mining high-ends all day, non-stop complex whoring with 100% bounties + loot to corp, etc). As BOB have made it perfectly clear that they are going to mine for capital ships, giving the corp 30m isk and saying "I made this from ratting because my mining skills suck" isn't actually very helpful to the cause.
In future, train Mining to 4 and Mining Drones to 1. It takes less than a days training combined, and you can now use miner IIs and mining drones (the standard t1 drones have enough space for high-end ore too). Who cares if you don't pull in that much ore - the point is you are pulling in some ore, which is what the corp usually needs when they call a mining op.

Im also a father of two married and all that, dont have many mining skill's, but can fly defence and scout etc.
Corp opps are manditory, and how else is the corp ment to supply ALL the T2 ship's and Modules that is does at prices way below market price.
Look after your corp and your corp will look after you, that my opinion of it.

You chose to ignore a director trying to get you to a mandatory op. Plenty of notice was given so your could trained mining to 4 easily takes 30 hours, or even volenteered to tank the spawns.
Not a team player = bye simple as. Its abundantly clear when you join that this is the case.
GL in the future, i look forward to hearing your name being called as primary target.

This should be a glowing example of what not to do
First every corp chooses how it runs itself, if you dont like how it runs your probably not in the right place, but as a rule communication is key if you choose to ignore an order and make no effort to communicate how you feel you could offer the corp a better service to either the director or ceo then dont feel surprised to get teh boot and really..and this is critical its a) Poor Form b) Very stupid, to post your disastisfaction on the eve-o boards any chance you had of working things out RKK just disappeared

Missing Corp op + Ignoring to help + NPC farming = Kick.
Im pretty sure if someone in my corp were to say no to a fleet op without good cause we would probably be podded and booted back to empire.
I like you love to PvP but even I know you gotta do some donkey jobs now and again to keep the PvP machine going.
Thanks for letting me say my peace.

Originally by: Iznogoud Well last Friday there was mining operation for the corp. I have missed. I was travelling in 0.0 space when director called Stratego open a chat demanding me to go mine in an arrogant tone, like if I was his toddler. I ignored his demands and his manners and proceed to my destination and started npc farming. Which is far more interesting to corp then having me mining with my lvl 2 mining skills.
On the next day I had all my rights cancelled. I ask for an explanation no one replied. So I asked for a transfer to another BOB corporation.
Today I connect and find that I was kicked out Reikoku. No mail, no chat with a neutral director, no warning. No respect.
Being in Reikoku for only two months, having 44 kills, paid in taxes to the corporation over 40 mil isk in the last two weeks, participate in the killing of the first carrier in Eve (an ebil ship). Isn't a bad performance, specially if you take under consideration that I am married, kids, very demanding profession and play from 15 to 20 hours per week.
I believed I was secure inside Reikoku. I never though an arrogant director with rude manners would be allowed to act like this in behalf of the corporation.
This is the way some corporations are taking care of their internal affairs showing that members are basically minions, neither partners nor friends trying to work together.
WOW! Smooth move coming here and posting...
What were you hoping to accomplish? This isn't exactly a kindergarten setting now is it. What, maybe you thought that the GM mommy would take your hand, walk you over to the BoB mommy; have a few words and play nice again? LMAO

"This is the way some corporations are taking care of their internal affairs showing that members are basically minions, neither partners nor friends trying to work together."
Mining sucks; and people don't leave their friends alone to do the sucky mining stuff. Especially when everyone is asked to participate, and this request is made long time in advance... leaving enough time to either do something about your skills, or to work out some sort of arrangement with the corp directors beforehand.
I can see how you could see personal NPC farming more desirable thing to do, when just running through the numbers you gave (40 mil tax paid in two weeks, 10% tax, 15-20 hours/week played) ... it appears you were able to pull ~10-15 mil isk per hour of play time in just the rat bounties, nevermind the income from loot sales. But then if personal gain was so much more important that'd you'd leave the supposed friends and corp operation on their own for it... i don't think you have much room to complain about basically being allowed to do your personal things 23/7, now. >>;

Talk to people befor posting and when a corp and alliance asks you to participate for an op you show up. Christ I hate mining, hauling, npcin and the sort but you have to do it for isk and I have yet to meet a player in eve who seriously doesn't need more isk for something.
Ah and Rohaan is going back to his Merchant Marine roots guess Karnov and Femintaki corrupted the poor lad. Quick, bring me a beaker of wine, that I may wet my mind and say something clever.

tbh what did you expect.. being in a high end PVP corp isnt just about killing stuff.. they expect you to work hard for the corp.. in whatever way they need done..
if all you want easy ganks, there are plenty of low sec pirates/low end merc corps

OP has every right to post his thoughts.
Seems to me an RKK director got ****ed that his mining op went **** up and decided to take it out on one of his own members rather than deal with it more rationally.
Time to move on Iznogoud find a better corp, can't be to difficult

Well, you were part of a PVP corp. PVP requires teamwork. The team was mining and you weren't, thus you weren't participating in teamwork. See where this is going...
No offense, but I think you're better suited for a different kind of corp.
Ok, back to mining
