Our corporation has been war deced by a corp named LOOT for no reason whatsoever. (I heard their bosses reasoning for the war was that we are "w4nk3rs", eventhough I have never seen him in space). Does someone here have any information on this corporation? Can someone help us if they are griefers? Are there any known exploits that can be petitioned under "GRIEF TACTIC" or "HARRASMENT"?

Too true, this whole pvp thing is wrong. Lets ban chinese ips...shard the servers into, um 20 carebear ones and a small pvp one that consists of one system. Also, how about we stop asteroids from respawning, stop all violence altogether since that is making this generation maniacal homicidal blood thirsty demons bent on destruction...

I recon you should just Quit eve since it is a pvp based game and get yourself World of Warcraft. It seems that it would be the perfect game for you. Just because you cant handle a little pvp, done not mean it should be taken out of the game. Grow some balls.

The are some tips I can give you that we often use in INFOD to avoid getting wardecced by evil griefers and piewats:
1. Join a pvp alliance and stay docked
2. Stay docked
3. Warp to out of grid safespot
4. Join noob-corp and stay docked
If you stay docked they cant shoot you! And you are still able to check market/escrow and corp hangar.
tbfh ccp should just delete the possibility to wardec corps and everyone with a security status of 2.0 or smaller should be banned.

Seems I have the same problem. I put a smart ass +4 implant in, and only had sarcasm to lvl 1. I've since trained it up a little and got a wit +3 implant, so my jokes come across much better now.

Get into combat ships, and defend yourselves.
Crying like a girl only proves you are weak. An ISK heavy corp with lots of expensive gear unwilling to defend themselves is the prime target for a PvP corp looking for soft empire targets.
People need to get out of the mindset that you need a years worth of skill traning to PvP. A bunch of people working together can take on far more experianced players in better ships within a couple of weeks of creating a character.
I bet this corp that declared on you has its members running around solo in battleships looking for ganks. Send in Frigate fleets for their solo hunters, and stay out of the way when they get a fleet of their own together. Once they realise they are losing expensive ships, yet failing to get easy ganks, they will find a softer target to war-dec instead.
Either do something about your situation, or roll over and let them walk all over you. Whining won't get you aywhere.

Stations should have minigames to play while you stay docked, or maybe pay per view movies on a hangar screen.
Serious tho, look at the map and find a quiet spot and mine there. Aridia is sort of crappy but atleast its somewhat safe and no one bothers to go there. Or do like i did, move to 0.0 space, no one wardecs there since everyone is fair game. Find a good alliance and join them.

However, I think 70-80% of the EVE population are all pirate-wannabes at heart.
So pirate peeps can keep attacking everyone, cuz one of these days, they're gunna put down their Strip Miner and pickup a couple of blasters.

PVP is part of eve. moaning about it being in the game is STUPID especially since you pay to play the game.. you should be well aware of what the game is about. Without PVP I'd imagine about 80% or more of the server would just quit. It'd be boring as hell. As for the corp war against you. There is nothing unfair about a corp declaring war on you just for the hell of it. Look at real life, country's go to war for no real reason. It's a game people. I would declare war on everyone if I could. It's just fun lol

if the war declaration isnt mutual its griefing, Loot will most likely not want to "mutually war" you if they are griefers as you claim, so if Pak declares mutual war Loot will lose interest and find a griefable target.
then you can mine pyro in peace.

Hello! Reality check! How on earth could a frigate compete with a battleship? The BS can mount LARGE guns and the frigate only small. LARGE guns = mucho damage and small = tiny damage.
The BS would pwn any frig in just one shot and I also do belive it should be able to tank them forever also. Just look at the armageddon, it got 8 low slots and therefor the best tank ingame since armor tank owns shieldtankers hard! What frig could compete with that. Dont try to fool them into doing suicide things please, not everyone enjoys pvp.

War costs them money, so don't let them make any out of you. Put your barges and haulers away for a while, and either fly PVP ships or shuttles around. Keep an up to date clone and try to avoid smacktalking them - they will lose interest pretty soon if they don't kill any valuable ships.
If they really are determained to grief you, just add em to your friends list. The second they enter a system your in, dock at a station and log off so they don't get the satisfaction of the chase. Don't log off in space though, that would just be downright cheating. Start an alt to give you something to do while your denying them the fun of killing you.

When Battle Angels was just a small production corp we were attacked by griefers, just as PAK has been attacked. In sympathy to PAK's plight I will dedicate the full industrial might of the Battle Angels corporation to defending PAK. We will be giving free frigates and cruisers to any mercenary or pvp corp who can rescue PAK from these griefers! We will give you good deals on modules to equip your ships, too. We have tech2 75mm gatling railguns, as well.

This is a SERIOUS issue people!! All this talk about jokes is devaluing my point on this SERIOUS threat! We cannot compete with the fire power Loot brings to the battlefield and are begging for help!
I am greatful for any help or uber tactics the snigg barge fleet could provide!
WoW is NOT an option, orcs and elves give me nightmares!
I have made the war mutual hoping that they were just looking for easy kills and will run at the sign of a fight. (thanks Gaiam)
I appreciate everyones help with tatics or offers of pilots! We will be testing these methods!!

Soren, a useful tactic is to always keep your local channel visible. As soon as these griefer-pvp-ers appear in system to ruin your gaming experience, log off immediately.

Crying like a girl only proves you are weak. An ISK heavy corp with lots of expensive gear unwilling to defend themselves is the prime target for a PvP corp looking for soft empire targets.
People need to get out of the mindset that you need a years worth of skill traning to PvP. A bunch of people working together can take on far more experianced players in better ships within a couple of weeks of creating a character.
I bet this corp that declared on you has its members running around solo in battleships looking for ganks. Send in Frigate fleets for their solo hunters, and stay out of the way when they get a fleet of their own together. Once they realise they are losing expensive ships, yet failing to get easy ganks, they will find a softer target to war-dec instead.
Either do something about your situation, or roll over and let them walk all over you. Whining won't get you aywhere.

To the OP:
Dude, nobody likes a begger. Park your barge, get into a PVP ship and die like the rest of us. Otherwise, take a week off EVE and dont undock. Most likely you are mining in an area that is upsetting the locals.
Or hire some good mercs to help you fight and teach you how to equip your ships. PVP is a lot of fun and if you use T1 ships, pretty cheap too.
But dont beg in the forums. It aint cool and peeps are just gonna laugh and make smilies at you.
P.S. Make sure you update your clone.

Thanks for all the support guys! Its great to see that not everyone in eve is siding with GRIEFERS. And for you GRIEFERS who are flaming me and my corp, try to understand that eve is not really a PVP game, we play this game for fun and enjoy spending time together on chat channels and mining ops. Thanks again to everyone who has supported us, I'm sure that in the end the GRIEFERS will get what they deserve!

You would be suprised what T1 frigs can do. Sure 1v1 not a chance, but get 20 or 30 on 1 and the DPS adds up quickly (say a frig can put out 70DPS, 20 of them can do 1,400 DPS). How many large guns can hit a frig orbiting 10km at 700m/sec? The best newbie defense is strength in numbers. I have taken part in T1 frig fleets, and they can work well if you know what you are doing.

Let's not play dumb here. We all know what he originally meant by the comment of "ban all chinese ips". He is assuming that every chinese player will be a macrominer and sell ISK on ebay. Having no solid evidence of this, he is just speculating. And by him assuming that, it leads me to believe that his comments had a hint of racism. Thank you.

I am a PAK sympathizer. That is why I have recently switched to a n00b corp so that LOOT will not war dec me. It's great that CCP has designed such game mechanics as proof versus griefers who would ruin our game experience!
