I'm working on a Simple Program that Calculates a Ships "Defensive Ratings"
It works by calculating resistances against hp on both armor/shields/structure And also calculates the Average ship hp recharge per second.
However... I want to set it up so that it Shows the "PEAK" shield recharge time. Since I noticed that shields recharge slower when they are almost full, and much much faster as the shields reduce in capacity. If I could have the figures for this, it would be cool, and help to add a "PEAK HP per second" section so I could know when this PEAK occurs and how much hp the peak is.
Thanks a bunch.

If its any help i THINK its around 2.4xhp/s. IE
1000 shields with a recharge of 100s = 10hp/sec
10hpx2.4= 24 peak recharge.

Capacitor Guide
technically it's not the shield recharge, but shield and capacitor share the recharge mechanics, if i recall right.

No, thats not what I'm looking for.
When your shields are at 99% for example, you could be recharging 1hp or less with fast recharge rates.
However, when your shields are at 25% you are charging MUCH faster, see for yourself =)
Anyway, what I need is the equation that is used to determine the speed and intervals when maximum recharge is achieved. =)

Ragor, read the provided link again, in the 1st post from dust puppy is an apromination formula to determine the effective recharge rate at any given state, be it 25% or 995%. Just take your time, there are even graphics that make the effect vissible.
