Dear Fellow 10 Year Club + peoples,
I recall during fanfest during the turning of EVE to 10, they mentioned that we the 10 Year Clubbers will get access to some sort of a VIP station or something of that like....
So I ponder, what happened?
Also, if that doesnt seem to materialize how about 10 YR peoples get the awesome sword, but a ingame version?

Valid question I think, which has been asked before and went unanswered by.
It's typical CCP behavior though.
You would think they would put the station up in a few month's with plenty of empty systems in EVE to wack one down.
I personally think though that they didn't got any further then the concept: "give them a space station" and forgot about it or never took a little bit of time to visualize this.
Going to bump this from now on till a developer responds here.

EDIT: Perhaps a 100 stack of Ishukone scorps.

While I think it would be cool for vets to get their own station (and I'm not one - yet), I've got a feeling that putting it in game will make a lot of people cry about CCP unfairly rewarding one section of the player base, throw their figurative toys out the pram and then unsub, probably for about a week or so. |

Honestly 10+ characters should have free clones, I don't see how it would imbalance the game and like others have said it would allow them to enjoy more rudimentary content again.

Especially since I'm actually close to having two accounts continuously subscribed for a decade. I'd settle for a slaver hound for my CQ! It would respond to sit and could sit next to me on the couch while I look for my alliance bounty notice on the space TV.
Maybe a pod colored like an Easter egg? Or all Concord NPCs have to announce my arrival at high sec stations in local? A cool kid 10 year T-shirt? How about our own special character photo background? Or a shiny hat like the king of all Londinium?

It just dawned on me.. they could double the subscription costs on 10 year vets. What do you want to bet that less than half who pay money stop paying for the game? They could call it a "premium" level, which comes with all sorts of items like capes, wands, and wizard hats.

a station is silly, as over X ammount of time it would be super saturated and the novelty would wear off.
anything that could be traded on contracts or maket would be so silly i wouldnt even blink at it...
simple things, like a name change, or a shiny sticker on your bio would do the justice, considering the only real merit of saying your a decader is for chest thumping purposes.

You guys should really stop asking where EVE is going and what heppened to promised feature X right now, because until WoD Online and DUST are stable EVE isn't going anywhere and nothing happens to any promised features, including their development. |

It amuses me how many 10 year vets like to preach about how entitled a lot of players seem to be nowadays, yet still we get to see these threads pretty often.
And really, what makes a 10 year vet? People sell their characters remember, so it's very possible that man y10 year vets are simply 10 year characters rather than 10 year players.
You know if they make this Gevlon will go buy himself a 10 year old character to come join in, and he's ultra noob.

a 10 year vet is someone that has been here for 10 years. i quit many times. my last cancelation was a couple of days ago. i was given a trick not a treat for my halloween present. serves me right for screwing someones plex profits. now i'm left holding stock, the saving grace is that i can use it as gametime if i wish. but i always knew that.
they could be 10 year+ vets out there that have 1 year old chars. that's my personal opinion. i wasn't invited to the beta but i don't care for betas that much. too much work and not enough fun. devs or their gf dont like to be pwnd too.
beta chars that are still around should get something extra. |

I am 10 this month, on 31st December people over 10 with an account has been active for at least 9 years that has not been sold should get something special :-)
