As u prly all know, the lag in this game is killing it totaly. There is a sertain playerbase who play this game cuz it has invested loads of time in to it and enjoy pvp above anything else, but geting killed multeble times cuz of lag is werry (to say the least) anoing.
I know for a fact that ive lost over 400m just to LAG, and i know many ppl who have lost even more.
Money is not why i play this game its the pvp factor. But ive invested loads of time/isk/training in to this game so i can use top of the line equipment and geting killed by lag time and time again is basicly saying ****off right in ur face.
I was whondering how much money the avrege player has lost in this game do to its gratest bugg ever.

If it is really lost due to genuine server lag, there is a petition button  . They can prove it (in my experience) and they do reimburse.

Reed teh nuws itemz. They are installing new hardware mid February.

i rarely get lag, serious.
then again, i keep drivers, windows up to date, have eve tweaked to run optimumly, and have a good comp and connection.
i also have a brain, so when i do hear there is some badass lag, or if i occasionally run into it, i log out for a bit, or stop doing whatever i am doing, because i am smart and dont want to screw myself, like you have apperantly done to loose that much.
if you want to do hazerdouse missions, fully knowing you expeience lag, then i guess a tough luck shout goes out to you.

everyone laggs, your not the only one losing ships to it, so you won't get special treatment regardless of how many threads you create.

Lol i dun think im guna get any special treatment for whining on the forum, and i know lag hits u as hard as anyone else. But my concerne is how is ccp going to reimburst players who are paying each month to play the most advertised aspect of a broken game. Ive invested in this game time, and time is not cheap. So how is ccp going to reimburst my time loss?

I was once in an Inty v Inty fight where the server lagged so much, that when my ship blew up and I was floating in my pod, I could still see my ship there attacking the enemy. Wasn't my end since TS/Corpchat were working fine. Since I couldn't move my pod, I spent the time reading Evemails and checking the ingame news page. Apparently the other guy was having the same problem, so an alliance mate came and finished him off with a Vigil 
And no, I never got any reimbursement for it

I can't say much about the lag problems, some nights I have bad lag some nights not. I can say with confidence that the nights I have lost ships lag was not a factor, just my idiot self being someplace I shouldn't.
That being said I guess I don't have much help to offer except this link.

Ya, there is a petition button but uhh, they still don't reimburse you. I have tried a couple of times and they say "yadda yadda we can't prove yadda yadda". So basically if the lag is horrible and you lost stuff, you aren't getting it back unless a GM was in the system that was lagging so hard where your ship was lost.

Retromash few pointers how traid works in RL. I pay for sumthing that u advertise and u deliver, everything else is frod, wich i think in every country on this planet is a law braker.

Well thats troo, i chuse to pay for a product, but it is not deliverd 100% as advertised, so the compagny ows me reinburstment how ever u look at it. Videogames is no difrent from other products u buy or sell. And when the compagny has said that they indirectly suport RL cash exchanged in to ingame Isk, then these 400m ive lost are RL money.
And btw u where saying sumthing about cheese?!

dude simple if thers lag u dont fly out to do missions PvP or whatever. Stay away from systems like Jita and rens. Ive so far never ran into any serious lag even when the server is apparantly lagging to hell.
Just log out for a bit and come back in a few hrs.

I'm considering doing just that. The game is unplayable at times. Leave for a few weeks, go play some DAoC, come back to Medium Auto Spec V and brand new servers.

assuming the new servers work as well as expected i wonder what excuses people will use to hide behind when they lose a ship when they cant just blame lag.
in my experience people use lag far too often as an excuse rather than just accept either;
they screwed up;
they were beaten fair and square by someone better than them ;
or the problem causing the lag is actually on their side.
i suppose they will still find something else to blame though.

maybe they would take 'some' petitions seriously if they didn't have a lot of mispelling and "l337 type" attempts in them...
if it is RPing, save that for the game, not petitions.

...and if you keep doing the same thing and getting killed from lag each time you do it....WAKE THE F UP, that is the basis of insanity, repeating the action, getting the same result, and expecting it to be different.

Stupid question really since 3/4 of the pvp loss's in this game im willing to bet the players blaime on lag opposed to them having slow reaction times/worse skills/crappy setup. Most the time if its server lag it will hit both players so will effect both i can understand the annoyance f you were caught by a *** gank fleet ina lag spike thou since the lag doesnt really matter for them. BUt still stupid question :)
