Let me first say that the corporation members of Confederation and Knowledge Industries Geological Research are the most immature group of players I've ever had the displeasure of flying near. The majority of their communications with me was chest-thumping about how I wouldn't take my tech 1 punisher against their three battlecruiser, two interceptor, and one frigate gatecamp. After explaining the difference between a knight and a murderer, they proceeded with the name calling. "Idiot" "ass hole" "n00b" "jerk" and a continual plethora because my lack of "courage". I did, many times, attempt to calm them down by asking them directly to not use name calling in a situation that I would prefer to be kept civil.
They failed. I decide to let silent actions end the discussion and began a warp to the gate. 15k.
Sure enough, they are ready for me. Everyone locks but only the battlecruisers fire. Drones out and the sentry guns blast them away from me. Thanks CONCORD for your backup. I orbit the gate at 1k, keeping my repairer on. The damage begins and I tank it with ease. ALL three battlecruisers while the interceptors pilots remain unengaged. One ferox is taking too much damage and warps out. Another one. Their heavy missiles simply are not doing enough damage to a frigate, and one that has high resistances due to it's bonuses. I am within 3.5k of the remaining ferox who's shield is gone.
I could warp scramble him without a sec hit... but I let him go. I let him live. Why did I show mercy, such a forgotten trait of mine? Because I did not want sebskywalker to force these rookies (literally, PvP in training_ pilots to lose their ships because of her smacktalk. I let the ferox fly off and with that.. the gate silent.. I waited. A medium range brutix warped in and managed to break my tank, so my hat off to that intelligent pilot. I warp through the gate and relax. The interceptors come in and continue to smack talk, telling me to 1v1 them at a belt. I decline the 1v1 and more name calling ensues.
Here is the last few lines of our conversation, which should give you an idea of the entirety.

I am missing your point. I engage things much larger than myself continually, but you want me to take on directly over six ships AND sentry guns in a frigate? I'm not your knight in shining ******* armor. I'm not going to engage if I can not ensure that my target is going to die because that is what I do in EVE. I murder. I destroy. I decide against engaging if the odds don't look like they will work out. You want to call survival similar to stupidity?
No amount of name calling, courage insulting, and voodoo is going to remove my level of common sense called "survivability".

I agree with you completely Malka. I just cant comprehend how people think its cowardly not to accept a 6v1 or other ridiculous odds. Nice job tanking in the punisher btw.

My immediate thought is, put them in your adressbook and wait until you have your Battlecruiser/HAC/Cruiser/other desired ship then go pick them all off 1 by 1. ....and call them noobs once you kill them. The irony would be priceless

My many thanks for your support, seriously. This event was something that was emotionally injuring, as dumb as that sounds. It was so disheartening to see people decend to such a level of social conflict and skill because of my sheer presence within the system. I look back on the days of old EVE and remember m0o, the TLBC, and similar and judge everything by that. It's like watching your child die in front of you, slowly. I'm not talking about honor or respect. I'm talking about how quickly the intelligence leaves and the mouth speaks before the mind when "friends" show up, only to call the other person a coward when it's 6 agaisnt 1 but yet they won't go 6 against 1+2 sentry guns at the station. Amazing. But thanks again, all of you. It's good to know that there is still an EVE population out there that wants to smack these kids as much as me.
I'm sure someone will ask, so here is the setup I used and a brief reason why. Don't argue. I don't care.
2xMedium pulse laser
1xDual-light pulse laser
1xsmall nos
1x1mn AB
1xwarp scrambler
1xsmall armor rep
3xcapacitor power relay
Offers an incredible capacitor recharge rate, sustaining almost everything 24/7. With everything and the repairer you have about twenty five minutes of tanking time. If I can't out tank the damage then I head out, if I can then I want them to watch their ship bleed to death as little by little they fall to peices... while I watch unharmed. Natural resistances and low signature radius for a frigate help too.

You jump a gate, you don't warp it.
You 'jump in' from a different system, you don't warp in.
These sort of mistakes would mess up communications in any serious pvp op. Noob. |

Maybe because I m a new player but I'm under the impression that in this game, a lot of the so called PvPers are nothing more happy gankers who like to think themselves as the local tough guys.
I played a few mmorpg before this one and as long as I remember, gatecamping or ganking squad was seen as the lamest thing to do but it seems that here, not only its a common practice but these guys are even proud of it 
I mean, come on , 6 loosers in BS and interceptors ganking on 1 guy and calling him a coward !!, lol, these guys are for real ?????
Calling these guys Pvpers is a disgrace to the craft
