CCP Please sort out the Angels. They are still the strongest NPCs ingame but they have been nerfed way too much in regards to drops.
After getting 6 spawns since RMR Deployment and having just a tag and ammo from them its starting to annoy me. Aswell as checking within alliance, no one has got anything of any value after RMR. They have been nerfed way too much.

Dont forget civilian shield booster. I got some nice loot right after RMR, but its like they quit carrying anything decent. I did have, literally, like over 100 webifiers, which is a useful mod but damn, and a bunch of crap, all angel loot.

I went to Outer-Ring two days ago, got a commander spawn and got a Serp Neutron Blaster and a few more cool items including a serpentis armor hardener.

Are you talking about Dominations ? Yes, the loot is usually bad. After may 15-20 Dominations my loot was 1 domination tracking enhancer, 1 almost worthless passive kinetic hardener with standard stats except cpu and a +2 halo implant.
But the usual Angel belt rat loot is good in RMR: Everything that dropped pre-rmr plus armor tanking stuff. So I'd say the value of the average Angel BS drops have doubled. ( edit: Think I've got almost 25.000m¦ angel loot from my hunting session yesterday evening and today before dt. Not bad imho. )

Where the heck are you doing your NPC hunting? Where I am I dont see a double in drops value, rather the opposite as the launchers have dropped a lot in value for ex. I have had x3 Domination Malakims (10.5mill bounty) and the best thing I got was a Domination AB, rest was ammo and tags, for killing a 10+ mill NPC, its kinda poor. The generel loot might have improved, but who needs 50 odd 1600mm plates or 650mm guns, you can only fit so many and they aint worth crap, certainly not enough to make a run to empire to sell em.

Yes, like I said, Launchers have dropped in price, I forgot that.
And Domination loot is bad ! If I spot a domination, it's nothing exciting, since I know that they usually only drop a tag and ammo.
So I live mostly from bounties and built my ships from hauler spawns, like yesterday, when I had the luck to find 65.000 Zydrine in one Carrier.
I stockpile the good named loot or use it myself, the rest gets refined. Think the 1400mm 'Scouts' are still quite valuable. Catalyzied coldgas mwds, prototype webbers, XL-C5L etc. fill my hangar for bad times. I'm too lazy to sell that, too. lol.
So if I do some marathon hunting sessions, I end with 60-100 mil bounties per day and a haulerspawn from time to time and all that loot that fills my hangar.
But I miss the officers. Haven't seen a single one since RMR. The last that I found and killed alone while hunting was 5 months ago. Officers where my main motivation to go hunting.

yup, for my last 4 domination spawns (3x 9.3m bs 1x 1,5m cruiser) i have gotten 4x ammo, 2x tags and 1 halo delta (only decent thing i ever got from a domination)
and yeah these angels are definately harder then all the other 0.0 rats i've hunted

Angels are quite challenging to fight, to be sure.
Since I've joined Ascendant Frontier, I've happened upon 3 Cruiser Domination Ships and 1 Battleship Domination ship.
In each I've recieved ammunition, some meta named tech I stuff (nothing to write home about) and two Domination Modules.
One I was very happy about (Domination 10 MN AB) and the other was a Domination Kinetic Shield Amplifier.
But yes, the angels Commander/Officer loot tables may be a little on the sparse side.
That being said, I am thankful to the developers for increasing the spawn rates of Commanders and Officers, it adds a new challenge and dimension to NPC hunting in general.

The angels need to be boosted, they are the hardest rats in the game and they drop dismal loot, the guristas rats are extremly easy to tank and kill and they also drop some of the best loot, this is very messd up and needs to be fixed. Ether boost the angels so they drop the best loot or make them only do 2 types of damage.

I have hunted Angels most of my Eve Life as a form of income and they have always droped standard stuff.
Even when Arby seiges went for millions of isk the drops from Angels were that rare (compared to drops from Guristas at the same time in the North) that the only real form isk was made off the bounties and not off the loot.
Since RmR has come out the drops for Dominations are far below the drops for other rats elsewhere in Eve. You could make more off the drops of some Gurista Rats Commander rats in Empire (belt rats not mission rats) than off the Angel Commander rats in 0.0.
Can we at least have some response after someone has looked into the loot tables to check they are working as intended.

Change the loot, make them ATLEAST drop 1x100mn mwd as a bare minimum.
Cut the crap with spamming the same modules out over and over again when ppl have long ago stopped using them in such quantities.

yes but BS still drop cruiser and frig modules there needs to be a balance otherwise everone will get 40 mil factional loot every time and then the prices will drop making them worthless - CCP have a good balance i think - more variation and some new items would be good and hte named strip miners that have been promised pluse some t2 1 run BPCs as well but wont hold my breath.

Obviously you arent taking other factions into account.
ALL other factions drop better loot and are easier to tank/kill.

Domination spawns should always drop a Domination module (Same with all other rats tbh), Even if its simply a Domination Small Autocannon as low end loot. At the very least you'll see a few more people flying around in Domination Armed Assault frigs or zipping around firing missles from a full gurista fitted crow and so on :P

I've been living in an angel infested region for the last year or so and imo; the loot drops have actually a lot gotten better and taken on far more variety since RMR...at least most of it's bs loot now ffs lol.
However I have to say that the bounties on angel complex npc's is utterly pathetic. In terms of the bounties earned an individual would be better off solo ratting than teaming up with ppl to do one for a couple of hours. They started off as as bit high, got nerfed to an ok level, then the last bounty nerf took a 2x4 and smacked em in the testes.
Regular angel spawn loot drops are better than before.

Its fine like it is now. Its not like its any harder to kill a 10 commander or a 1.7mil normal bs whit the right ship and setup.
And since they spawn more than frequently(sp?) its good that they dont drop good loot all the time or else those items wont be "rare" even tho they arent that rare imo..
Of the 6 or 7 commanders I¦ve killed since I started playing again (just before christmas) 4 of them dropped atleast 1 item (1 of them dropped 2 items) The rest droppedthe usual named launcher a tag and some ammo..

Domi loot from domi spawns has always been erratic....as is the same with all faction items from commander spawns. Out of say 20 domi bs's i've killed in the last 6 months only about 4 have dropped domi items (not literal figures, but the ratio's about right)
So again, noticed no change.

Angels use projectiles, and it's only fair to the Minmitar-using players that there be some NPC's that drop stuff they can use.
But yes, Domination stuff is mostly items I wouldn't use.
Some of the stuff makes fitting easier, (i.e. reduced CPU, etc.) but I don't have any issues whatsoever fitting tech II stuff as it is.

If i am ratting i go kill Sanchas by now. Those are at least no waste of time. You get module drops with almost EVERY commander spawn. Sometimes you get even TWO True Sacha items.

I live in angel space, and the loot tables do seem rather screwy. My corp loots every single can droped, we live off refining.
Yet in 5 weeks, we havnt found a single cargo expander 
Between the 8 of us, we loot probaly 150 webifiers a DAY. They arnt even named webs. Just basic webs.
We've been lucky with commanders and officers, i have no problems with these. Just problems with the basic loot. The normal frigs dont even drop frig guns anymore, it seems like they drop ammo, nothing else.

...it dropped a siege and a malkut cruise launcher
won't even talk about the outlaws that drop named BS MWD's

Angel drops have been quite sucky though. But you know what'd help alittle?
Seed the missing B and C type mods for Gist, Pith, and the other factions.
Ok so that wouldn't be so much an Angels fix as an NPC faction in general fix. Still, it needs to be done. It's not like the game will break because we get a few mods that are between T2 and Gistii A-type in power. It'll probably drop A-type costs, which would be good because they're jumping in price faster than HACs.

I hunt Angels in a -1 sec system alot, and to be honest, I think it's not just a problem with the domination loot, but a problem with the frequency of domination spawns as well.

Ok, I have been dorely dissapointed in the NPC hunting in 0.0 after RMR, goto a system with 30 belts in it in a -0.7 to -1.0 and all you find most of the time is frigs and cruisers. I spent 3 hours in belts in Tenerifis mercy killing frigs and cruisers just to finally get a BS spawn that was still dropping crappy loot. It is rediculous that in systems around a -1.0 the BS's are very few and far between, and when they do show up they are usually BS's with 500k - 850K bounties, not many above the 1Mil bounty mark. The Angel are surposed to be the toughest in the game, but they seem to do a lot of hiding.

TomB can't be talking about the same loot thing we are; loot obviously WAS changed, because all the basic mods were removed (energized basics aside).

Won't come in with Blood and most likely not until Kali, new system for it is needed or we will loose a lot of development power into tweaking/fixing it again and again.

F4ze, I assume you're talking about the z-n constellation (only one in Impass with that low sec), in which case, I'm not really suprised you haven't seen a domi spawn. That area is way over hunted (seeing as it's the only really good hunting constellation in Impass and several corps live there). I've been in DDC for over a year and I have participated in killing (not even found myself, just participated in killing) one (1) domination spawn. Mostly that's because I don't full time hunt and because I dont full time hunt I dont bother to leave the z-n constellation.

dont belive you, how came angel rats drop 1600mm plates like crazy but they didnt drop any pre-RMR?

the loot is definetly different in RMR then before.
Few fixes were done but mainly to battleship NPC's and addon of missing items - it didn't get overhauled like I promised; complete clean up, loot balance of factions.. and something else.
TomB, get back to Copenhagen, we'll have a few beers (you tried to get out of it last time by playing sick, ppppft ) and I'll help with those changes, we can have em ready in a week or so

Manpower.
Anyways, out of 4 domination spawns I've seen recently, only 1 has dropped a domination item -- a domination webber. The rest was faction ammo and assorted junk. It kind of takes the joy out of finding a domination group if you know it's likely to be junk.

Doing a bit of NPC hunting in 0.4 sapce this evening and came across a Dominator Predator.
took him out (bounty only 430k) but what her dropped was the surprise...
T2 LOW GRADE HALO EPSILON Implant
That i was lucky enough to sell for 13M ISK, not bad for 60 seconds work!
But I just think I was VERY VERY VERY VERY lucky!
