As well, the fight was in L-1, not L-J. Perhaps this is where your confusion comes from.

Actually the fleet battle you lost.
IMP, VC, FA combined - 5bs, 1hac, 1 transport ship and some cruisers and frigs
BoB - 2 hacs, 5 frigs and the pos
get your info straight

1 bil worth the pos stuff, haulers full of pos fuel, covetors, ospreys and tons of minerals. You sat in the pos while we pounded it into the ground and blew up all the stuff.
Then you sat 300k above us watching us kill the pos.

As for the fight it was alot of FUN!

Is it really necessary to post a thread about EVERY SINGLE battle that happens in the game? Maybe we need a new board just for them?

Not every single battle, just every single battle that people think BoB lost. Cus they're uber, ofc, and beating them is something that every man and his dog should brag about again and again and again.

One clear winner emerged from the fight at the gate: lag. 80% of our gang dropped when we jumped in, resulting in very little firepower actually at the gate for the first few minutes. I'm surprised I survived, especially since I had two deimos and a megathron shooting at me at the gate. Raven tank on a tempest ftw!

Why don`t u just deny noob corp alts to post on this section of the forum, they`re only used for flaming and usualy are ppl that have absolutely no ideea what happened, probably saw a killboard or heard about it from a friend of a friend and think they know it all.

Dunno if I'm the listed HAC loss or not, but it was a rapier, not a HAC :/ Silly me accepted the gang invite as I jumped and the gang join lag hit me as I uncloaked at the gate to warp and cloak, leaving me sitting there helpless with a frozen screen :/ So... thats something to remember not to do again  Did get a free ride to my spare one though, thanky :)
Edit: Kinda disappointed, I was gonna film the fight as I was kind of useless in a RC but its what I was in when we were called in from delve :/

that we stole from VC in the first place (including all the fuel and ships)

You died horribly at the gate despite out numbering us 2-1 in total and 5-1 with battleships. And had you not been naughty little boys and girls and purposefully lagged out the area around the pos but we would certainly have engaged you there too if it'd been at all possible.
Try achieving something of at least some merit before posting with an alt you silly child.

Apparently the horrible deaths didn't detour the attack. You would think if they were "dying horribly" they would perhaps fallback. And the POS was defenceless? OMG! Your kidding? You do know they make guns you can hook up to them? Don't you?

We warped off the gate because they had more numbers. Hit and run. They then warped to the pos started attacking and popped drones out. The lag then became pretty much unbearable, we had people's ships flying out of the POS bubble with no control.

OMG! You ever hear about reinforced mode? And like you can't online the structures again until the shields are above 50%? And like we almost did that with three ospreys because FA/VC/IMP took forever to get their blob together.
And like after they popped drones there was over a minutes lag just warping from a safe? And like you can't even like have a like fleet like battle like in those conditions like.

This is pretty much the most accurate statement in this thread. I don't know if it was 80% but it was at least half, including myself (more accurate to say that they did emergency 1m km warpoffs). Been some time since I last was in a battle like this one and I can definately say now I remember why I hate them so much, since it was literally the worst lag I've ever seen. I spent over 5 min at the POS unable to fire, move, warp off or do anything, this after I was already there and firing at it. Added on top of that was the fact that the warpoffs initially gave the defender a huge advantage that they didn't realize by positioning, tactics or anything else (note - not the defender's fault ofc) and it reinforces the point that CCP needs to adress this issue (which I know they are doing) with perhaps more attention than they are even doing now.
Also: Why they let alts post on the forums is beyond me.

During our spring clean we destroyed many FA and VC pos's, the tower VC/IMP popped last night was one that dropped from a corporate hangar array along with ALL of the fuel/mods/ships. We moved all the valuable ****/stuff we wanted a long time ago, the pos in l-1 was a defunct relic.

30 kills (inc. 4 bs) for 10 losses (0 bs losses), whilst outnumbered 2-1. Or in other words, we killed more than we had in our entire fleet.

We were fighting a VASTLY superior force in terms of battleships, we never had the intention of staying and fighting a pitched battle on the gate but the lag had other ideas, still, we achieved more than we aimed to in that engagement.

The pos ran out of fuel earlier in the day because quite frankly we had better things to be doing, the tower was onlined but we didn't get around to onlining the guns again. Perhaps the fact that we had "better things to do" signifies its insignificance?

why bother and reply to the flaming alt ?
To the vc/imp ppl gratz on killing your own stuff. Nice fight at the gate and nice move avoiding a fight at the POS by dropping all the drones you had to lag the place out. Now how about controlling your alts or atleast making them post with their main
