By having multiple smaller individual parts offset in time it gives a more dynamic and kinematic visual.
Currently ALL Marauders have the SAME timining, everything slides together all at once, guess what , the human eye can't watchitall simultaneously. If you OFFSET the animation of different parts, AND allow it to flow in ONE direction it immediately improves the effect.
The Bat mobile had this SAME effect, theanimation is offset in time so it appears the individual parts are not all moving together.
The Marauders all have the SAME timing for EVERY single part. You need to offset this more. Bring out some BIG guns, the turrets right now have WAY more interesting animations. |

Yes I know the new Golem is not finished.
Yes I am aware I'm panicking about a work in progress and not a final asset.
However, the direction so far is bad! If there is ANY way to stress this to whoever is currently mangling the Golem, I want them to KNOW why it's not working yet.
The corpses are also not done but they are in much better shape and already looking pretty in this pre rubicon release form.
The Golem needs more work on proportions, it also needs something done about the wings and hammerhead concept. Like I said, the hammerhead concept is interesting but doesn't work with the Raven hull.
I'm worried that the final version will not look much different from what I see now and with only a month left before Rubicon I am worried that this design is close to final. |

It took me months, MONTHS to train up for a golem, get all those long ass skills trained and now the ship looks like it was modeled in 10 minutes! **** that! I want to see the same level of commitment from the model that I put into training to fly this piece of JUNK!!! It looks like a crappy version of a delorean, without the flux capacitor! |

Actually new Golem looks so bad i can't even say where it needs to be improved.
Old Raven is beautiful, majestic ship... ITS WAY BETTER than this Sinq proposition of new Golem.
Look at Tempest -> Vargur. Both similiar but marauder is simply meaner.
Same with Raven -> Golem it should be.
Wings section need to go completely - remodel it pls.
The rest is matter of personal taste. But pls... give this ship some love. Its a game about spaceships and staring at your expensive, precious ship is v.important for many of us :) |

They've been trying ever since they covertly unleashed the travesty that was the redesigned Fed Navy Comet. It's just been continuous since then imho.
All the new redesigns and ships look like plastic toys (as I said earlier). That started with the Primae.
They seriously need to bring in a texturizing expert.
