Add me to the crowd that does not like the new model at all. It actually looks like something I built in elementary school trying to resemble a bird. There is definitely something juvenile in its appearance, like a really bad child drawing. At least the current model still has SOME self respect left looking at least a LITTLE intimidating. Even though nobody is using it like that, it is suppose to be a war ship. Please, let it look like it at least. |

You are wasting people's and CCP's time and you are creating an issue that does not exists. CCP has done a great job with Marauders transformations and changing the most ugly looking ship into something better looking and refreshing after years of ugliness. I do not care if you do not like the front of the Golem, I love it.
If only you concentrated your efforts on a better cause it would be beneficial to a lot of players.
Just get on with it, CCP has done enough to update this ship. |

Now onward to discussion. The raven model is used in both CNR, state issue, and T1 variation. Having a T2 being unique is rather great. I personally hate the whole angled wing look anyway, the flat look is a bit more variation. To be honest I refused to fly golem or raven because of this and trained into amarr. I think i will be training into the new sexy golem though. At the end of the day its all about personal taste. |

Im sure the art team is good and all but the golem kind of looks like the old one to me shape wise from a distance 
Imo looks pretty standard caldari more than the dark grey crow / Shadow wessel / kling bird of prey look it used to have..
I guess one thing i can agree on is that it doesnt look as menacing as it used to do 
Thing is people want fresh graphics in eve and Im sure there are like 10x the guys who prob likes the new style compared to the old guard whining about the changes.
The color scheme kind of reminds me about the noctis wich when i first saw it looked beatiful and still does since with its spinning part around its neck reminds me off babylon 5 earth force ships
Im not sure its a good idea to have its colors be too closely matching the noctis stil, should be some difference between military vessels and civlian ships imo.
If anything they could add some red to it like the nighthawk has , but not over done jus a stripe or 2 |

Some of the worst ship designs I have ever seen. It's a study in what NOT to do to a spaceship.
They look like someone vomited color all over their hull. Textures are gawdy and have no taste. |

actually now that I look at it the thunderbolt fighter reminds me a lot of the Golem.... same design issues too! Wing proportions, that horrible angle to make it look like a bird of prey.... all the same issues! |
