Greetings.
In a combined effort, the joint forces of The Stain Alliance and The Huzzah Federation
Took Control of the FAT System and the station within that system.
We would like to thank Our allies and supporters and ofcourse, more importantlly -
Thank FiX for some lovelly battles that left many Eve-Oholics breathless.
The war goes on...

This week with all the battles have been the most amazing ones that a lot of Huzzah pilots have been in, of course props to SA and also to the FIX pilots that put up a most determined and fierce resistance to our joint forces.

How did you claim it already? Soverenity should take 5 days wasn't it? Saw fix have soverenity 2 days ago so something is bugged here :)
Tho gratz on your (re)taking FAT. It has been SA for a long time. I even lived there for 4 months as a pilot of SA.

Sovereignty doesn't work quite that simply.
Once a POS is up, and in sovereignty claiming mode, it will start to count towards the score 5 days later.
so if you put one pos each day up for 5 days, after the 5th day, the first one starts to count, then the second on the 6th day etc...
But say after day 7th (by which time three will be counting) you've managed to knock over your oponents POS such that they only have 2 "scoring" POS you immediately gain sovereignty.

KAOS contribution in this conflict was significant and is greatly appreciated however they withdrew last week, Imperium has never been part of the allied forces, I think they sent a fleet once into FIX space but that wasn't a coordinated effort.

Wow that's a stupid system...
So, let's say you 'zerg' a system defended by 4 PoS with 5 of your own, then the defending party puts up 2 more the next day, you will still get sovereignity on day 5 and lose it one day 6 again?
Sounds like a total screw-up from where I stand...

We got 5-n about 2 days after it went into contested so not sure how it works really apart from sov will come when it comes and it's just down to game mechanics.

No it makes perfect sense. The system means that it's not enough to "zerg" with more large towers, you actually have to knock some down too.

Regardless of the system sov, FIX have lost the station unless they try and take down the shield to evict FOFF, however they would then have the combined forces of SA, Huzzah and FOFF against them whilst they did this so it's unlikly that it would happen.

wrong clue, FOFF have security measures thats why our pos is still ours, FIX security, as the posting of my notice to them on the forum shows is lacking, making their pos's change sides was not very hard to do i imagine.

Thanks to SA/HF and my corp for living in there ships for weeks to make this happen and thanks to FIX for some great fights.
That beast last night raged for so long I had time to clone up after i got podded and jump back down from FAT- in time to get in on the action again \o/
On to the next stage. ;)
Might be worth commenting that the lag was incredibly bad...again....

Ahhh, and there is the source of the confusion upon my own part. I hadn't seen that FOFF was holding the station, I had assumed it was held by SA. That explains things nicely.

Yes soveriegnity system is bugged. We petitioned CCP 1 month ago as regarding it, as we realised over the other Catch stations, yet nothing was done.
A bug that works in favour of the aggressor unfortunately.

Guess u are misstaking us for fix. We been out off fix alliance for the last 4-6 months or someting, depends on our members. Tho we have had fix and band off brothers at blue becouse they are stand up folks, and our past record with them :P. So get ur facts right. Tho i guess we caused some havoc there, as i been able to afk jump thrue it in hours without anny worry :P And we have shoot so well iron, some g, some u and who ever els 2 for that sake =).

Hmm well Asuya does so a lot of fighting. To say their just in HED would be completely false. However, one can best describe their triad as a gank squad. The link to the killboard is right there go check it out... Fast Hac/Frig squads with some gankageddons, thats not a flame thats the truth.

Raid u are right, we are fast moving ganking stuff htingy, tho we never back down from a good fight =).. Even it means we prolly end on the losing side, Its a game, Its suppose to be very fun =)

lol, that so called gang you got consisted of 3 scorps, 4 ravens and 3 armas, and we just had a few hacs, and yes you were way too slow, it took you like 1 hour to assemble that gang, we simply couldnt get the numbers to take you on as people were starting to log off for the night. If you want to fight then dont outnumber us so much, we are not stupid ;)
We have had a few good even fights with Huzzah before so if you say we run and hide then you are simply spending too much time on the forums and not enough time ingame.
We have had some awesome fights with many different alliances/corps, and thats what we go looking for every night, ganking cant be helped, good fights dont come often, and killing stuff helps to pass the time.
now lets stop *****ing, get this thread back on topic :P

Some great battles, the hour+ long battle was great, and the final battle aswell as the 2 leading up to it were great also. Laggy as hell though, can't wait till the new cluster in feb, hopefully it will bring back more control in the battles.

SA constant pressur and internal affairs made fix lose FAT. no excuses nessesary... no need to defend ones position no need to talk smack about alts in what corp you are in. Fix lost Fat oh well. that doesnt mean they wont attempt to retake it... just makes great game play for all that is involved in one of the best conflicts in game currently.

thier corp did the bulk of the defending of fix space in and around FAT every day. always prepared to engage regardless of size of fleet. FoFF is very respected for thier pvp abilities and even loyalty.
As for leaving Fix - lets just say that it is 100% true that they ( fix ) JCOS sit at a round table and think about what course of action to take againsts its enemies. this unfortunatly doesnt work in a large alliance. military commanders in charge of QDF for fix must have the authroity to take action first then review the outcomes after the battle has been completed.
there was once somone CALLED "COUGAR ONE" 1st Admiral who had unconditional freedom to lead militaraly when JCOS was not prepared to make critical discisions. now that Fix great pvp leaders in charge are gone Like COUGAR ONE Fix is attempting to hold down the alliance with conscript armies and poor intel and diplomatic abilities...
Final Note there are some really good corps in fix that have been defending... Band of Builders and FOFF... Unfortunatly for the others i can say much about anymore...
What direction fix will take now that FAT is taken will be interesting to see. My thoughts are that Fix Alliance will now close its Querious boarders and go back to the standard defensive position of lock down 3-f a2 and 49-u and hope for hiring mercinary forces to protect fix now that they are backed into a corner...
interesting times ahead...
this post was not ment to be flame but its just a visual observation on the state of fix now that Fat has fallen...

All the smack talk does it reduce any achievements we make as an alliance to that of a school yard bully. Whereas respectful, non-inflamatory posts help us by letting us come across as skilled and disciplined fighters.

Absolutly. You've just owned them, why do some people feel the need to smack talk and then just make themselves look like 5 year olds... It also makes the other people in your gang feel pretty damn embarased. I know, in the past, whenever someone has smack talked and I'm in their gang, I start to wish I'd never accepted that gang invite...

To be fair, you should probably acknowledge the contributions made by the other 3 alliances that assisted SA in taking FAT, since that makes it look like an SA-only campaign.
I do agree that some of the battles have been good, though the lag at times has been horrendous
Hopefully those planned server upgrades will improve the lag issues we've all experienced.
As if the RMR bugs aren't enough... it definitely hates ATI video cards
Also, thanks to the SA pilots that sent me killmails after I asked in local for a copy. My machine was bugged and on 2 occasions I lost killmails for both my ship and theirs. There was no smack at all and copies were sent on request - much appreciated.

KAOS have not fought in awhile... and MOST i said "MOST" battles SA and Huzzah have been outnumered...its the dayamn truth... so please stop making it seem like we blob fleet battles and admitt SA and Huzzah engaged no matter the numbers...its the truth i give respects to fix for fighting but come on pleaase admit SA/Huzzah always fight no matter the odds without delay killboards if looked at closes show to truth. past the smack im glad fix put the fights they have done forward but please speak the truth that even tho huzzah and SA werk alied we fight outnumber ALOT.

Nice post Grez, Sa have in my opinon a group off very stand up fighters, that want a good fight. Without the smack and just the fun. And i do have respect for does players. They fight hard, and either if they win the figh itself or losses they are still good sports!
Sadly that is overshadowed by to manny high profile sa players that just cant stfu in local. Wich is pretty sad. Luckely for sa some off the more profiled flamers and smackers actully have left sa now so hopfully this will get to the better =).
All groups/alliances has this problems and its a shame becouse its a game and i doubt anny game can beat the feeling u get after a long clean fight vs another group with alot off kills/deaths on both sides and just a happy face becouse we all got alot off fun =).

SMACK TALK IS PART OF THE GAME FFS. it is never going to be the end... sometimes its fun, annoying, stupd, blah blah blah... get over it, crying about it all the dam time aint going to change anything. Samck is and always will be part of the game. JUST DEAL WITH IT or FFS minimize local. People pay there 15 bucks a month if they want to smack they will smack. In the end what does it hurt. NOTHING. Same as alts posting, same as BE using wcs, and same as FIX will alway's needs rescuing. SMACK will never end.... |

peronaly i got more self respect than to make myself look like a total immature ***k, why not just go around speaking in l33t? thats how far smak talk lowers you..which if you do it on your own i have no problem...but if also embareses every one in your gang (well except like minded children) and stains the alliances reputation.

Ofcourse smacktalk is part of the game. Some are actually good enough to use it to make the enemies do what they want. 99.9% of it though is just immaturity and frustration which works your own side up more than the others..

Offcurse its a part off the game, but as it is now 85% off the smackers can never live up to what they say :P.. So insteed off making it someting effective they just make them self and their alliances locking very bad.
But hey thats me,, im just happy if i can press f1-f8 on annyone =)

They sent a gank squad with uber result 7 dead bs's in 2 mins, so stick to the corr pinnin down easy ganks and let the real pvp to older folks
and btw i got 3 asuya mails in 1 min

Two days before that we killed 7 sa bs in a fight and lost 1 (was great fun, smack free. And kudos for sa to stick around so we could get our number up to even =) )
And 2 days after that we killed 5 bs lost 0. And shoot a obelisk down to half armor :P. So well,, yeah =) That used the uber good sa trick! "logged off as soon agression timer was over."
Even the best lose once inawhile :P =)
A question tho, as u are a older pvper u get tierd easy or someting ? Just thinking when OUR force is half the size off URS we still mange to kill a couple and get the rest to deep ss and logg off, is that becouse u and ur friends are older pvper? And need to rest more?
Sry but just had to defend my self, as u dont see us go post specific engaments on the forum. But jup u pwned our fleet at that engament, But as said alot more pilots, and we where absolutly wrong setup on our ships =( Also we had like 4 points on one bs that warped away =( And we didnt come becouse off a pos going down, we came for their was a dread around =).. But still dont think u heard more from us then GG in local =)

This has been a long and bloody war. Lots of boring moments, but lots of intense battles as well. To me it appeared to be a war of attrition where both sides kept trowing ships to the meatgrinder. Sometimes we won, sometimes SA/Huzzah and both sides got owned by the Lagmonster. Sure, there were some annoying "issues", but I'm man enough to admit defeat. I gave everything I could, as the many Fixians that fought there every day untill the day FAT fell.
PS. This war made me fall in love with the Apoc. It proved to be able to be something more than a mining platform
This is my personal view, not intented to flame, smack, etc etc...

I dont want to sound disrespectfull but what FIX needs to do is try to get hand on some good commanders. As the majority of fix want to fight..
Its just lack of leader ship and tactics wich they lose on.
However Most FIX are great guys .. Very respectfull

You had 7 or 8 battleships and 1 frigate, so 'totaly outnumberd' isn't entirely correct.
You lost 7 BS, SA lost 1 BS + 1 blackbird.
I think we can put this in the folder of 'un-necessary smacktalk by Loftur' though

Sadly we where fitted for killing ur dread :P so well u pwned us fair and square.. belive it ended up with us losing 7bs and only mange to kill 1 raven and a bb. "checked my killboard =)" So i take that back! About ur number im not sure on, but as u are right on point 1. I guess ur right about ur numbers aswhell :P =)
Sadly blasters and no mwd doesnt fitt well for 20km engament :P Well still good go. =) Everybody loses, "specilly me, i was not insured :P"

FAT being in friendly hands makes me all warm and fuzzy inside.....im just bummed ive missed most of the fighting so far....set to get my broadband back on middle of feb.....havent felt this fuzzy since the coalition - fix war.....now that was fun......and can someone please tell me why Kaos pulled out....please dont flame with that question....its a long story but i missed the whole se/sa split and i want the old crew all singin kum-ba-yaa around the FAT fire again
