Hi Guys,
My corp is about to make a financial decision on a POS project.
Just got one question though
Tuungsten Carbide Reaction description says it takes 100units of each materials to make 10,000 Tungsten Carbide. DOes that mean the reactor will make 10,000 per hour assuming the moon miners can keep up?

Yes However tungsten carbide is a complex reaction, that you can't feed directly off moon miners.
IIRC you need to mine tungsten and platinum, and react for rolled tungsten alloy, and atmospheric gases and evaporite deposits to react for sulfuric acid. Then feed your sulfuric acid and rolled tungsten alloy to your reactor.
Which you won't be able to fit on a single tower. -- We are recruiting

Edited by: gregehghc on 01/02/2006 00:46:34 Well the plan invovles 3.
But the Large tower we need to be able to moon mine make a simple reaction and then a complex reaction.
Is it possible to be able to do all that on one tower with one reacto r without slowing down the process?
What i mean is how long does it take to make the complex reaction? can the reactor do a whole heap instantly or does it take an hour to do 1 lot

Take my word for it, it isn't worth bothering with.

Every hour, it takes 100 units of each on the input, and ejects 10000 units of carbide.
To do this without waste, a minimum of two large towers are required - otherwise you will have extra simple teaction components gathering dust.

Vish im sorry to say you are wrong on that one it can be done with 1 large and a small with the right moons twin towers are only neccessary when you come to making complex`s with 3 inputs. im not gonna tell you how. but have a good think about it its not that complex. a little latral thinking gets you a long way.

If 2 med towers with reactors feed materials through to one large tower....it doesnt make waste at all does it? Because the med reactors only run at half speed...
