Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! As everyone knows, we have a few active wardecs and merc contracts, which can sometimes distract us from the Derp Alliance war. Given the minimal Eve action during the holidays, we decided to spend some time playing with our bestest friends. So in the spirit of the holiday season...
Twas two nights before Christmas, when all through space An orca and hulk, were mining in place The lasers were firing at the asteroids with care In hopes that U-MAD soon would be there.
The miners were scouting just one jump away While visions of veldspar were filling their bay And their corp mates in lowsec, playing with their caps Had no clue we were about to spring our trap
When two jumps out, there arose such a chatter As U-MAD charged-in, the miners were scattered Away to the station, the hulk flew like a flash Leaving the orca to burn into ash
We checked our logs to find who had final blow Talked smack in local, linked the kill mail, created a show Wardec mining was your first big mistake. Typing GǣOrca Boosts are up!Gǥ in localGǪnow that took cake! |

That is still far more than your elite forum pvp. There is a reason why peopel generally ignore anyone posting from an NPC corp.. because they are
a) cowards that post with an alt.. b) cowards that do not get into the real game because they are afraid of US wardeccign them

All I can say to those people is bring it! Wardec a small highsec merc corp. Dominate us! It will be easy. We'll submit to your ever present authority! Please folks, keep under-estimating your opponents! Fill our sorry wallets with the over confidence of your destroyed ships!
Lol...4 pages and still some people don't get it.
Having just spent about 3 months in null all I've learnt is that it is a fairly accurate depiction of feudal era life. These null players rely on army level maneuvers and being equipped with decent gear.
Highsec wars from my experience was more like greek era myrmidons. Top level fighters in high grade equipment that were feared and respected for their skills in combat. Highsec mercs occasionally exhibit these traits. Most of it in whores was just cheap ganks on the ignorant or unwary.
I don't presume to know the current merc landscape because it no longer interesta me a lot but if you have some kind fleet battles to show I will read. Do quite enjoy 10v10 fights. LP store weapon cost rebalance |

Do not think we ever managed to have 10 player online at same time in our corp. Its usually a 3 v 4-10 (we being the 3) or a 3 vs 1 when we find a careless mission runner. "If brute force does not solve your problem..... -áthen you are -ásurely not using enough!" |

More or less you are right.
But yes, I have quite a few records containing our past fleet fights.

Damnit Marlin! If you're going to grief high sec corps you will have to do better than that to keep my attention. If this is the sort of crap that goes on in high sec then there really is no reason for me to return. I gave you more chance than I should've because your name just rocks but that is no longer enough. Unsubing from this fail thread now.

To be fair I was just trolling previously cant say they are just griefing and hiding in high sec
My PVP alt had joined one of the low sec corps they had a war dec against. They did eventually come to area, and once i realised no one from the low sec 'pvp' alliance would fight them my PVP alt moved on.
I cant accuse them of hiding anymore |

Considering your corp was the only one able to dent some damage to us in last 3 months, need to congrats you guys on a properly balanced fleet made exactly to counter our tactics. Just to be clear, we are all ZeusGÇÖ boys. IGÇÖm just one of the directors with some time on my hands.
[Day 80 of the 300 Day War]
So the Derp Alliance war has been going ok. We have killed 105 ships with a total value of 8.4 billion without a single loss. This update is on a somewhat related wardec. ItGÇÖs important to note that no Derps were involved in the battle report that follows.
Since the rate of kills on our Derp war has slowed down a bit, we decided to wardec some of their blues that have been offering them some refuge/protection: (1) Friendly Forces (Name changed to protect the innocent) is a lowsec alliance that guards the DerpGÇÖs entry into lowsecc, and (2) Reset Corp (name changed) is the assumed industrial corp that lives in that same entry system on the highsec side.
One of the downsides of doing what we do is that people generally run away from us. Because of the recent warp changes, to catch anything you have to have interceptors in your fleet. To improve the chances of locking down a system and to deal with multiple warp core stabilizers, we use multiple interceptors with multiple points. Since weGÇÖre a small corp, if most of us are in interceptors, whoGÇÖs left applying DPS? One guy GÇô Solj.
In our first battle with these new war targets, we engaged the fleet that was perfectly set up to counter us (i.e., two logi against our laughable DPS). Since we couldnGÇÖt kill anything, we re-shipped in anti-logi ships (plenty of damps and ECM, one tackle and two kite ships). Their fleet was made up of two corporations that were at war with us, so when their scimis tried to rep an out of corp fleet member, they immediately went suspect. Safety failed? Immediately some neutral locals jumped into the fight killing the scimis leaving the other war targets vulnerable to us.
After that fight, we stopped getting any fights, so we shipped back down into our interceptors. Big Mistake! Solj, one of our best pilots, pointed a war target on a planet in his tengu. As we warped in to help apply what little DPS we could, additional war targets landed on grid, forcing us off field one by one. However, when a rapier uncloaked right on top of SoljGÇÖs tenguGǪ.well, why re-open old wounds?
We took the bait and fell for that trap. We underestimated our opponents! We paid for our mistake with the loss of that ship! To add insult to injury, the industrial corp (Reset) got the final blow to one of our best pilots. I canGÇÖt even remember the last time Solj lost a fight.
Reset Corp, you should frame that kill mail! They are extremely rare. gf

[Day 129 of the 300 Day War]
Yes, we were serious about war dec'ing this Derp alliance for 300 days to teach them a lesson. "Never Under-estimate your opponent."
So far we have destroyed 122 ships worth over 9.2 B. The Derp alliance has killed 2 ships worth 72 M.
WHAT? I know, I can't believe we lost a ship in this war, but I guess it sometimes happens. Although it would have been a great story to have finished this war with zero losses, at some point everyone dies in Eve.
Our perfect record was first ruined by Pshyco Steve who engaged the Derps in lowsec. He lost his Caracal solo'ing a Rapier and an Oracle. The second loss was Jack's Wolf as he was solo'ing the Derp's ally caracal. Both of these guys are good pilots, so hats off to the Derps.
With the start-up of our alliance, we've been focused on getting organized, learning from each of the new corporations in the alliance and executing an influx of merc contracts (keep them coming!). I'm proud to say that we can now re-focus the alliance on our core strengths and fundamentals - actively hunting war targets. So fair warning to the Derps, if you log in, we will know. If you hide, we will find you. If you fail to run, we will destroy you.
Nothing personal...just plenty of lols
