I'm a long-term player of this game, been around for 2+ years, and I reckon it's now time for some of the things promised from way back when. This game is crying out for some new environments and that's the number 1 thing I'd like to see. Sure, new ships are nice, and this may be looking at it in a very simple way, but are they not just new skins with the numbers tweaked? The same can be said of new versions of existing modules. New environments will give us new ways to use the items we have already. Anyway, that's what I want, what do you want to see next?

I would like more new found regions added or is the eve-verse really only this big *shows pic of current eve-verse*
20000+ ppl online and goodness knows how many systems never seems to be a place where an area is silent or untouched.
more regions/systems would be really nice

Planetary colonization a'la Master of Orion for alliances. Planetary buildings can produce trade goods which other planets use and also give bonuses to all ships in systems. They can build all kinds of improvements and the like.
Titans will be able to use their weapon to bombard the planet and destroy improvements, and a freighter can drop off a troop ship to attempt to take the planet once its defenses are destroyed.
Basically it causes the whole current capital ship system to have a POINT to it. -- Proud member of the [23].

Yup, space empires-esque empire building would be sweet. The eventual removal of all NPCs anywhere would do it for me though (not going to happen but I can dream...). ___

New hardware The lag can be a real game killer More interesting backdrops to systems When I fisrt started eve I was blown away, now I enter a new system and dont even bother to look at it properly More reasons to just explore It seems there is no incentive to just get out there and fly. All waypoints are fixed for you and you just warp to them making space feel small. I am sure there are more things I can think of but these are the ones that jumped to mind straight away.

R & D changes (I want more interactivity) I want to see research ships that can go deep into 0.0 in search of stellar anomalies that we have to scan for RP's (or whatever replaces them).
Micro-Jumpdrives Yep you heard me, I want a cruiser sized research vessel that can use these too!
Some polish on the Manufacturing system I hate having to pick a slot, the system should have a much easier wizard that just auto-allocates you the slot with the least wait time (you should know what the wait time is before you start). Modal dialogs? ick, maybe one of these days I'll post a thread about it.
The Contracts System I've read just about everything posted about this and I seriously can't wait for it.
Something in between Transport ships and freighters. 100k m3 that can't be used for mining maybe? CAn't scoop jetcans and has no turret hardpoints?

Edited by: Ceridan02 on 06/02/2006 11:50:24 Much lesser lag in the EVE Universe and especcially in Hageken where everytime you do a mission can be your last because Equiplemt cant turn on or you loose lock before the game manage to activate the guns/misiles because of the lag.
Dont bring new features in EVE. Make EVE playable again first!

I want them to finish the story arch's they started so long ago. I want the building system expanded. You build engines, sensor systems and all other kinds of stuff, like with capital ships. But those that build the engines, can decide if it should be a prime engine, stock engine or discount engine. Prime engine should give 50% more thrust, stock what we have now and discount perhaps 30% less. Time to build a prime engine should be 4 times, stock should be as now and discount should be + the time it is now. Skill should ofcourse have an impact on time and perhaps also effeciency of the module.

Boosters, more use for Sovereignty, tactical envoirnments and a change to how local/the map/scanners work, PVP is eve WAY to straight forward, we need more mystery and room for tactics. -------

colours and decals for ships...you belong to corporations so you should be proud to wear their colours, surely there are space-proof paints and stickers available...

More 0.0
Multiple jumpgates in empire systems to new and outer 0.0 regions (adding more 0.0 on the outside would mean that existing alliances would simply take them all by default, as getting through alliance space to claim them = no).
More routes into some 0.0 regions.
^ the main problem with 0.0 is lack of access. More (noob) people would move out of empire if there was more access.
Jovians.
Jovian missions with officer loot level rewards for people who want to mission run, not farm belt rats.

- Strike-colors-button. This should improve piracy and also alliance war.
- Antifrig gun-arrays for battleships using 1 slot but have the firepower of a destroyer. It¦s a shame how easy a 100 mil battleship can be destroyed by 2-3 friggs worth less than 1 mil ISK.
- A solution for the fubared travelling in EVE. Combat right now is reduced to locktime vs warptime. Not really cool. DEVs have to find a solution for this or the game keeps beeing a gank-fest at jumpins.
- Shipwrecks and...the industrial ships to tow those to a station slowly or to cut out metal alloys.
- Splash-damage weapons to counter blobbing. Nukes that do a big areal effect.
- Gank-nerf. 3 ships firing at 1 ship = normal damage. 30 ships firing at 1 ship = reduced damage. This means that 30 ships would still be able to gank 1 ship, but it would be wiser to split these 30 ships into several squads that pick their own targets. Otherwise the overal damage is reduced.
- Less PVE-stuff to help to get a real playerdriven universe.

Stock Market would be so, so cool. Unfortunately I'm not sure how you could implement it so that it can be used as another form of PvP and yet not allow control of a corporation to be taken.
Player run insurance would be good too. -- (Battle hardened miner)

Some sort of exploration content. To find new systems, or new... anything, that is useful. Something more involved than scanning moons.
More involved storyline play. Give people more of a reason to choose a side, a faction, to be a part of. Though Kali I've heard might be bringing some of this with the whole faction war deal.

small pockets (5 -6 systems) of 0.0 all over the map meaning criss-cross threw empire, not more ring map structure 0.0, this would spice everyones lives up.
other then that, I hope the devs keep on their own track, some ideas i read scare me. __________________ hmm Dark Shikari is right !!!

I would like to see.
1)new envirments, comets, planets, gas clouds eg.
2)a little more depth in mining prodution and R@D.
3)make pirating and bounty hunting a profitable job class.
as for opening new space I dont think that is realy needed atm just leave jita and head down to amarr space it empty.
