Why right-click? As soon as I destroy the target, all loot should instantly jump into my cargo hold. 
Better yet, as soon as I appear out of warp, not only should the rats shoot and destroy themselves because of my pure awesomeness, they should salvage and loot themselves, and be so kind as to transport the goods to my station of choice.
Once everything is there, they should sell everything of value and melt down everything else then sell the minerals. 
But, in all seriousness, I just tried out this super doper awesome feature on SISI and yes, I am currently filled with school girl delight.

That's the attitude that you find in gamestudios, that make average games instead of great ones. The correct attitude towards improving the playing experience is always to ask "how can we make this thing better" and not immediately settle for "good enough". Regardless it always makes sense to improve a feature when there are no negative side effects attached to the change and implementing it isn't an issue.
PS. You are still free to use ctrl+A and drag the loot in your cargohold, if you feel it's the better way of doing things.

would be nice if they can add a "loot list". where you can apply a 'cost' that is non isk related but the items would be weighed on both their cost and their volume. then there could be a black list that would just say don't loot this. |

I'm fairly sure that's not what they meant. With CCP's new focus on EVE and making the game better as a whole, we're seeing a lot of features that were "Good Enough" before, that are now becoming great.
- The Font used to be "Good Enough" and now we have a new one.
- Loot All is another example.
- V3 project for ships so we can have logos on our ships.
- Incarna (because ship spinning alone used to be "Good Enough".)
- Blaster Fix.
- New Tier of BC
And that's just a very small portion of what CCP is doing for us. All this is because CCP has finally acknowledged the fact that their game is not, in fact, "Good Enough" to just let it sit and suffer. Adding new things and fixing old, CCP is slowly changing their game from good to great.

If cargo-hold doesn't have the space, i guess it will loot whatever can fit.
Hotkey is doubtful.
Currently, you need to open a wreck/can and press loot all, so one by one as it was before.
Some filters would be nice, do not loot metal scraps or cap charges, but i guess that's too much to ask for. |

Unless they're going to create an option to loot any wreck within range, I'd like a shortcut to open the currently-selected wreck (can't remember if double-clicking does anything), or even the ability to multi-select wrecks in the overview, but that might require a lot more programming (along with issues of which one is the "currently-selected target"?).
My container is NOT imploding! It's just a bit upset that it only sees cheap crap. |
